  • Ginka - Kinosaki Maruyamagawa Onsen
  • I want to stay at a hotel with an attractive open-air bath in Kinosaki Onsen this spring!

I'm going to Kinosaki Onsen in the spring with my father, who loves hot springs. Can you recommend any lodgings where I can enjoy an open-air bath?

Ginka - Kinosaki Maruyamagawa Onsen

1177, Oshima

  • View of the Maruyama River from the cypress observation bath

  • Ginka is a hideaway inn located on the banks of the Maruyama River, in the inner sanctum of Kinosaki. With only 18 rooms on a vast site of about 6,690m2, you can enjoy a spacious stay. You can look out over the majestic Maruyama River from the large open-air bath. All rooms are also equipped with a cypress observation bath, where you can spend your time relaxing while feeling the refreshing scent of cypress. For cuisine, you can enjoy the intricately prepared kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )that is their pride and joy, with seasonal dishes such as Matsuba crab in winter and Tajima beef in summer.

  • The 6,600m2 site features 18 tranquil rooms and an open-air bath overlooking the river.

  • This is a hidden inn for adults that values privacy, with only 18 rooms spread across 6,690m2. The guest rooms, where you can relax while looking out at the calm Maruyama River, are truly an extraordinary space. They are spacious enough, and the Japanese-style design of the lights creates a soft atmosphere. There are four types of baths, and you can relax in an open-air bath overlooking the river of your choice to soothe both body and mind. The meals are authentic creative kaiseki meals, and you can enjoy local seafood and seasonal vegetables, including Tsuiyama crab, which is made with a thorough focus on natural ingredients, as well as Tajima beef, which is said to be the only Japanese beef in Japan that has been cultivated for its excellent meat quality. The dishes are also a feast for the eyes, as they are made of pottery from Arita's leading potters.
