  • Sahoro Resort Hotel
  • [Hokkaido] Recommended hotels with direct access to ski resorts

I'm planning to go to Hokkaido in January with friends to ski and snowboard. I haven't decided on a slope yet, so please let me know your recommended slopes and hotels. I want to move around easily, so if possible, a hotel directly connected to the ski resort would be good.

Sahoro Resort Hotel

Karikachi-kogen, Shintoku Town, Kamikawa-gun

  • A resort hotel with convenient access to Tokachi ski resorts

  • If you're in Hokkaido, I recommend Tokachi. The snow is high quality, and you can easily get to the ski resort from the resort hotel here. I enjoyed skiing and snowboarding. There's a lift station right in front of the hotel, and there's a shuttle bus to the slopes, so it's very convenient. You can also rent skis, so you can go light. There are plenty of locker rooms for ski equipment, which is convenient. The hotel has a spacious bath and comfortable rooms. I also enjoyed the Hokkaido buffet for dinner.

  • Enjoy skiing and hot springs in Tokachi

  • I recommend Tokachi Sahoro Resort. It has very convenient access to the ski resort and the scenery was great. The lift ticket was relatively reasonable, including a one-day pass and lunch ticket. The building is old but well-maintained. The room was spacious and the bed was big, so I slept well. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options and was very delicious. There was also a hot spring, so I enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor baths.

  • A ski resort and resort hotel located almost in the center of Hokkaido

  • This resort hotel is located almost in the center of Hokkaido and is easily accessible from anywhere. You can also go directly to Sahoro Ski Resort from the hotel. The powder snow and the view from the summit are Breathtaking view. The rental corner is well-equipped and the staff are very attentive. The hotel has a large bath surrounded by mounds and a Finnish-style sauna, which was relaxing and warmed my body up. There was also an open-air bath made of rocks, so I enjoyed the Japanese atmosphere.
