Family trip to Himeji Castle! Can you recommend a hot spring inn in Kinosaki Onsen that is good for families?
My family and I are going to Hyogo Prefecture to visit Himeji Castle, a World Heritage Site. We would like to stay at Kinosaki Onsen, which is famous for its hot springs. There are many popular hot springs such as Oedo Onsen Monogatari, but what is the best hot spring inn for families in Kinosaki Onsen?

- If you are visiting Kinosaki Onsen after Himeji Castle, we recommend the Nishimuraya Honkan, which also has a sense of history. This Ryokan (Japanese inn) is built in the authentic Japanese Sukiya style of architecture. Kinosaki is famous for its soto-yu (public bathhouses), and the location is convenient for that too. The food is Japanese cuisine made with high-quality ingredients from Tajima. The presentation is gorgeous, and the taste is elegant and original.かがわ's answer (Posted on:2017/9/ 4)

A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that is a registered tangible cultural property of the country
- This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Kinosaki Onsen, which has been in business for 300 years and is located in the historic area. The building, including the entrance, is a registered tangible cultural property of the country. The rare three-story wooden building has a mysterious atmosphere, as if it were the only place that has traveled back in time. The bath has been renovated and is stylish while still retaining the atmosphere of the past.のむた's answer (Posted on:2015/10/20)

A private open-air bath overlooking the nature of Kinosaki
-
Located on the edge of Kinosaki Onsen town, this is a quiet hotel with a nice view. There is a small, tasteful Japanese garden. They offer a wide range of services, including the rental of colorful yukata robes and fashion accessories, and a shuttle bus to take you around soto-yu (public bathhouses). For meals, we had creative Japanese cuisine made with seasonal ingredients from Tajima in a private room. They also have a variety of alcoholic drinks, including sake and shochu. The large indoor bath was spacious and we were able to relax in it. There was also a private open-air observation bath, where we enjoyed a luxurious time gazing at the mountain and river views.さむ's answer (Posted on:2015/10/19)

A hotel with Breathtaking view view a little independent guest cottages from Kinosaki Onsen town
-
Although it is a little independent guest cottages from Kinosaki Onsen town, they take care of various things such as transportation to the station and soto-yu (public bathhouses). The hot spring at the inn is small, but the water quality was good and it felt great. I stayed there with the crab course plan. I ate a lot of crab cooked in various ways, so much so that I didn't want to see crab for a while. It was very delicious. The bite-sized curry for breakfast was also excellent.センノシド's answer (Posted on:2017/6/26)

A relaxing inn in a convenient location for touring soto-yu (public bathhouses) of Kinosaki Onsen
-
This is a small, modern inn with 9 rooms in Kinosaki Onsen. It's conveniently located along the main road in Kinosaki's hot spring town. It was very convenient to go around soto-yu (public bathhouses). There are also two private hot springs in the building where you can take your time bathing. The service was also polite. The food here is delicious and filling. The sashimi and meat were all delicious. The rooms are clean Japanese-style rooms, so you can relax and enjoy your time here.旅師's answer (Posted on:2015/10/16)

Affordable hotel recommended for families
- This is a hotel affiliated with the very popular "Oedo Onsen Monogatari." It is convenient because there is a free shuttle from Kinosaki Onsen Station. The service of renting a yukata is attractive, so you can explore Kinosaki Onsen town in a yukata. The rooms are very clean, and Buffet with a wide variety of dishes is delicious, so I recommend it.げっちゃん's answer (Posted on:2015/10/17)
