• There are many different trains and buses in and around Arashiyama. So, unless independent guest cottages from the area, you can get there by public transportation alone. The hotel I recommend is "Kyoto Arashiyama Goseiyu no Yado Ranzan." It is famous for its delicious meals.

• It's close to Togetsukyo Bridge and within walking distance of the station. There is no open-air bath, but the location is good and it's convenient for sightseeing. You can also enjoy the foot bath at the station while taking in the scenery. We also recommend the breakfast, which is full of delicious Kyoto pickles.
