Terrace Inn Katsuta

1-3, Katsutachuo,

  • Accommodation with many dining options

  • It's conveniently located near Katsuta Station on the JR Joban Line, but the quiet environment makes it a great place to stay with partner. There are vending machines and ice machines in the building, and there's a Lawson convenience store nearby, so you can relax and drink in your room until late. Hitachi Seaside Park is also just a 20-minute drive away.

  • Convenient hotel near JR Katsuta Station

  • This hotel is located right near JR Katsuta Station. It is convenient for transportation and easy access to Hitachi Seaside Park. There is also a convenience store nearby, which was convenient. The room was clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. It was a reasonable stay, costing about 7,000 yen per person including breakfast. Katsuta Station is the starting point, so it is recommended to take the local Hitachinaka Seaside Railway line and enjoy the scenery from the train. Nakaminato Fish Market is also a popular tourist market and is very lively.

APA Hotel Hitachinaka Katsuta Ekimae

10-7, Katsutachuo

  • A simple but well-equipped accommodation

  • Located within walking distance of JR Katsuta Station, this hotel is the perfect base for sightseeing. You can relax in the large public bath, so you'll be able to fully recover from your tiredness after a long day out. There is a restaurant on the first floor, which is also where breakfast is served. The buffet features a menu supervised by a nutritionist, so you won't end up with an unbalanced diet. There are also plenty of rental items such as chargers and humidifiers, which is reassuring for women!

  • Popular chain hotels near train stations

  • The rooms and common areas are clean, and reception desk staff are friendly and polite. The location is about a 6-minute walk from JR Katsuta Station, so it's easy to get to. As it's a business hotel, the rooms may feel a little small, but even with the breakfast Buffet included, the price is reasonable and it's good value for money. "Aqua World Ibaraki Oarai Aquarium" is also a recommended spot. It has the largest number of shark species in Japan, with about 60 species. The dolphin and sea lion shows are impressive, and there are plenty of events and experience programs, so it's perfect for a date.

  • This hotel is located close to Ibaraki's tourist attractions, such as Oarai, Ajigaura, and Hitachi Seaside Park, making it the perfect base for sightseeing. The building is old, but it is well-maintained and clean. There is a large public bath where you can stretch your legs and relax in it. The rate is cheap, even with breakfast included. Breakfast is Buffet with a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and it tastes delicious. The staff, including reception desk staff and restaurant staff, were very friendly.
