Visiting Kenrokuen Garden - Any English-Speaking Accommodations in Kanazawa?
A friend of mine recently visited Ishikawa Prefecture and had a wonderful time, so I'm planning a trip there myself. I'll be taking the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo and am now looking for accommodation in Kanazawa. Could anyone recommend any hotels or other types of lodging in Kanazawa where English is spoken? Thanks in advance!

A relaxing hotel, far from Kanazawa Station
- Although you will need to take a bus from Kanazawa Station, there is a free shuttle bus so you can get there without any problems. The rooms are spacious and even if you are traveling alone you can use a twin room. This hotel is popular for its food, and they offer a delicious crab kaiseki course, especially during crab season. It is also close to the Hakusanroku Ski Resort, so it is recommended for those who love skiing. English is also spoken.帽子屋's answer (Posted on:2025/1/ 5)

English-speaking hotels near Omicho Market
- Although it is not close to the station, the hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from Omicho Market. Omicho Market is on the way from Kanazawa Station to Kenrokuen Garden, so you can also get to Kenrokuen Garden with a single bus. It is accessible by bus or on foot from Kanazawa Station. It is along a main road from the station, so it is a bit far, but you can walk there. It is inexpensive and has a simple structure, so it should be fine if you are not mainly staying at the hotel. Another recommended point is that it has been renovated and is clean.井口's answer (Posted on:2025/1/ 5)

English is easily spoken at reception desk
- It's a 6-minute walk from Kanazawa Station. It's along a main road, so you won't get lost. When I checked in, the person next to me was checking in in English, so I think English is understandable. There were many foreign guests. The room had a bedroom, a bath, a toilet, and a sink. There was a bathtub in the room, and it was easy to use because it was separate from the toilet. However, there is no changing room, so you need to be a little careful if you are using it with someone other than your family. The bed was also perfect for a woman to use alone. There was a table and two chairs in the room, so I had no trouble eating things I bought at the market at the hotel.浅姫's answer (Posted on:2025/1/ 5)

A hotel close to the station with excellent facilities
- The nearest Kanazawa Station is just a five-minute walk away, making it a great location. It is one of the tallest hotels in the Hokuriku area, so it is especially recommended for those who want to enjoy the scenery. There are always English-speaking staff on hand, so foreigners can feel at ease. The hotel, including the rooms, has a slightly luxurious feel. If you value cleanliness and the quality of the facilities, this hotel is a must-visit. There are also plenty of facilities, including a Japanese, Western and Chinese restaurant and an on-site spa, so you won't get bored of your long hotel stay. A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) where you can feel the history of Japan
- This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a long history of over 100 years. The guest rooms are Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats, so it is recommended if you want to experience a traditional Japanese room or sleeping on a futon. Breakfast is served at the dining area, and dinner is served to your room. Ryokan (Japanese inn) room dining is common at inns, so it is rare to be able to choose in-room dining at this price range. This inn takes pride in the fact that the chef himself purchases seafood every morning. As a result, the menu focuses on seafood, such as Japanese kaiseki and seafood bowls. If you are not comfortable with raw fish, you may want to choose the yosenabe, which requires a reservation.siratamago's answer (Posted on:2025/1/ 6)

All the guest rooms feature traditional Kanazawa crafts, making this a perfect hotel for tourists with a strong concept. The large public bath also has natural hot spring water, so it is especially recommended for those who are interested in Japanese bath culture. A hotel directly connected to the station so you won't get lost
- Being part of the JR Group, the biggest attraction of this hotel is that it is directly connected to Kanazawa Station. There are pamphlets in foreign languages near reception desk, so it is also recommended for those who want to find tourist spots locally. Of course, you can also ask reception desk for advice! Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet, and there are also menus using local ingredients. It is not a fancy hotel, but it has all the necessary facilities and amenities and the price is reasonable.夢々's answer (Posted on:2025/1/ 6)
