Ryotei Yamanoi Hotel

1042 Tamayu-cho Tamatsukuri, Matsue-shi

  • A wide variety of kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )! A great value inn where you can choose a plan based on the type of cuisine!

  • At Yamanoi, you can choose from five types of kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )depending on your budget and preferences. Particularly popular is the Manzoku Kaiseki, which includes fresh sashimi, hot domestic beef, Shabu Shabu(Japanese hotpot)-shabu with seasonal vegetables, and a tempura platter, and if you go in the winter, you can also choose the Crab Kaiseki, so be sure to check out their website.

Matsunoyu Hotel

1215 Tamayucho-Tamatsukuri, Matsue-shi

  • Cuisine with a focus on local flavors

  • This is an inn where you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine made with plenty of seafood from the Sea of Japan, such as blackthroat seaperch and crab. The blackthroat seaperch is grilled with salt to make it even juicier. Another recommended point is that you can enjoy Izumo soba, a local specialty.

Hotel Gyokusen

Tamayucho Tamatsukuri 53-2

  • There is a plan where you can enjoy the Blackthroat Seaperch course in a private room.

  • This inn has a spacious garden, and there is a plan where you can dine in a private room in the restaurant, which is located in a tranquil area independent guest cottages from the banquet hall. kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )consists of 11 dishes, with blackthroat seaperch, a high-class fish that represents the Sea of Japan, as the main course. The inn's proud large baths are spacious and come in two types: a cypress bath and a rock bath, and can accommodate 200 men and women and 40 people in each open-air bath at the same time.
