Yunosuke-No-Yado Chorakuen

松江市玉汤町玉造323

  • Enjoy a multi-kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )featuring delicious Shimane delicacies at Chorakuen

  • Yunosuke no Yado Chorakuen is located in the middle of the hot spring town, and is a hot spring inn that boasts a Mixed-Gender Hot Springs gender open-air bath. The large garden of 10,000 tsubo (33,000 m2) and the 400 tsubo (120 m2) Mixed-Gender Hot Springs 100% natural hot spring in this spacious bath. The guest rooms are decorated in a purely Japanese style, and each room offers a different view. For food, you can enjoy traditional kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )centered around seafood from the Sea of Japan. The kaiseki kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )features a variety of Shimane delicacies, such as crab, blackthroat seaperch, Shimane wagyu beef, clam miso soup, and Izumo soba.

Ryotei Yamanoi Hotel

1042 Tamayu-cho Tamatsukuri, Matsue-shi

  • A wide variety of kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )! A great value inn where you can choose a plan based on the type of cuisine!

  • At Yamanoi, you can choose from five types of kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )depending on your budget and preferences. Particularly popular is the Manzoku Kaiseki, which includes fresh sashimi, hot domestic beef, Shabu Shabu(Japanese hotpot)-shabu with seasonal vegetables, and a tempura platter, and if you go in the winter, you can also choose the Crab Kaiseki, so be sure to check out their website.

Matsunoyu Hotel

1215 Tamayucho-Tamatsukuri, Matsue-shi

  • Cuisine with a focus on local flavors

  • This is an inn where you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine made with plenty of seafood from the Sea of Japan, such as blackthroat seaperch and crab. The blackthroat seaperch is grilled with salt to make it even juicier. Another recommended point is that you can enjoy Izumo soba, a local specialty.

Hotel Gyokusen

Tamayucho Tamatsukuri 53-2

  • There is a plan where you can enjoy the Blackthroat Seaperch course in a private room.

  • This inn has a spacious garden, and there is a plan where you can dine in a private room in the restaurant, which is located in a tranquil area independent guest cottages from the banquet hall. kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )consists of 11 dishes, with blackthroat seaperch, a high-class fish that represents the Sea of Japan, as the main course. The inn's proud large baths are spacious and come in two types: a cypress bath and a rock bath, and can accommodate 200 men and women and 40 people in each open-air bath at the same time.

Chiyonoyu

1215-2 Tamatsukuri Tamayu-cho, Matsue-shi

  • It's a natural hot spring that uses 100% natural hot spring water from our own source, with no added water, heating or circulation!

  • As the temperature of their own hot spring is 66°C, there is no need to add water or heat it, and they do not use a circulation system, so you can always enjoy fresh, free-flowing natural hot spring water, making this a luxurious inn. I think this is a very rare inn even nationwide. There are two large baths, each with an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and there are also three private family baths. There are several types of kaiseki kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ), and while the standard kaiseki is sufficient, if you want something even more luxurious, there is also the Manzoku kaiseki. This is as extravagant as it gets.
