The baths are 100% natural hot spring the large open-air Mixed-Gender Hot Springs bathing bath is amazing. The weak alkaline spring water has a skin-beautifying effect. Just walking through the vast Japanese garden on the premises is soothing.

• When I think of an Mixed-Gender Hot Springs-air bath I'd like to recommend at Tamatsukuri Onsen, I think of the mixed-gender Mixed-Gender Hot Springs air bath at Chorakuen. It's a very large open-air bath measuring 400m2, and mixed bathing is quite rare these days, which is very charming. Since it's Mixed-Gender Hot Springs, you don't have to worry about wearing a towel. It feels so good that I've never been in such a large hot spring before. It's luxurious because it's 100% natural hot spring. If you're not comfortable with Mixed-Gender Hot Springs, there are also large indoor and open-air baths that are alternated for men and women, so you can enjoy the hot spring to your heart's content.
