  • Hotel Seagull Tempozan Osaka
  • Recommended accommodations near Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan

I want to go to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan to see the whale sharks. I'm also planning to go on a food tour of Naniwa Gourmet Alley. Can you recommend a place to stay nearby for a woman staying alone?

Hotel Seagull Tempozan Osaka

1-5-15, Kaigan dori, Minato-ku,

  • Excellent location right next to Kaiyukan

  • This hotel is located close to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, so you can relax and have fun until late into the night. There are various types of rooms available, but the ocean side is recommended. The ocean twin room I stayed in had an excellent view of the ocean from the window. The room was spacious and had an elegant interior, so I was able to relax. You can enjoy a leisurely buffet breakfast while looking out at the sea. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms.

Natural Hot Spring Midosuji Hotel

3-7-20 Nanba, Chuo-ku

  • Convenience of transportation is the first priority

  • This hotel is located right outside Namba Station on the Midosuji Line. You have to take the subway to get to Kaiyukan, but I think it's a very convenient place to stay. I think it has a very Osaka-like atmosphere. It also has a natural hot spring, so I recommend it.

Porta Inn bentencho

3-9-22, Namiyoke, Minato-ku

  • It is safe even for women traveling alone.

  • Bentencho is two subway stops away from Osaka Port, where the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is located. It is also a JR transfer station, making it extremely convenient for going to Universal Studios Japan. There are plenty of restaurants and a large supermarket in front of the station, so you'll have no trouble finding something to eat or shop at. City buses also run through the area, making it extremely convenient for accessing downtown areas such as Minami without having to transfer.
