• This hotel is located about a 4-minute walk from Sakurajima Station, one stop away from JR Universal City Station, the closest station to SJ, and offers reasonable single room rates. USJ is about a 10-minute walk away, so it's economical to have a meal at City Walk and stay overnight without meals.

• This hotel is located in front of Suminoe Park Station on the Yotsubashi subway line. It's not cheap, but there is a bus terminal on the first floor of the commercial building called Oscar Dream where this hotel is located, and there is a direct bus to USJ from there, so I think it's very accessible. The accommodation fee is reasonable, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast Buffet is delicious, so I recommend it.

• If you are using JR, I recommend staying near Noda Station on the Osaka Loop Line, which is close to Universal Studios Japan and convenient for accessing downtown Osaka's Kita district. The Toyoko Inn Osaka JR Noda Ekimae is a national chain hotel, so it is reasonably priced, has good security, and the rooms are kept clean, so you will be satisfied with your stay.

• If you are going by car, I recommend staying at a hotel a little independent guest cottages from Universal Studios Japan for a good deal. This inn offers a choice of Japanese-style rooms or 4-person rooms, and is also reasonably priced. There is a parking lot, although it is charged, and it is only an 8-minute drive to USJ, so I think it is within the acceptable range.
