  • Sunriver Oboke Hotel
  • Which hotels have easy access to Iya's Kazurabashi Bridge?

married couple and I are going on a trip to Shikoku. We are having trouble choosing a hotel in Tokushima Prefecture. We want to go to the "Iya Kazurabashi Bridge," a nationally designated important tangible folk cultural property, but where is a good hotel to stay at? We plan to eat out, so we're planning to stay overnight without meals. Please let me know what hotels you recommend.

Sunriver Oboke Hotel

1259-1 Yamashirocho Nishiu, Miyoshi

  • You can stay here for a very reasonable price if you stay without meals.

  • It has good access to the Iya Kazurabashi Bridge, and many of the rooms offer views of the beautiful Oboke Gorge, a national scenic spot. Depending on the reservation date, you can get a great deal on a room-only stay, so you also have more options for dinner.

Iya Onsen Hotel Kazurabashi

32 Zentoku Nishiiyayamamura, Miyoshi-shi

  • You can experience a secret hot spring in the open-air bath.

  • "Hotel Kazurabashi" is very conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk from "Iya no Kazurabashi Bridge." The open-air bath, accessible by a special cable car, offers a unique hot spring experience in a space that feels like a hidden hot spring, surrounded by beautiful nature.

Hotel Hikyounoyu

401 Oinouchi, Nishiiya-yamamura, Miyoshi

  • A secluded inn surrounded by nature

  • This inn boasts a variety of hot springs, including open-air baths with great views and large public baths, that exude a secluded atmosphere. The warm, Japanese-modern rooms are comfortable, and the view of the secluded mountains is soothing. There is also a great value plan with no meals included.

Wanoyado Hotel Iya Onsen Natural Hot Spring

367-28 Matsumoto, Ikeda-cho, Matsuo, Miyoshi-shi

  • The open-air bath accessible by cable car is appealing

  • The best part about the Japanese Inn Hotel Iya Onsen is the open-air bath, which you can bathe in by descending to the bottom of the valley via a cable car. Although you can stay overnight without meals, you can enjoy the hot spring water 100% natural hot spring to your heart's content while admiring the beautiful scenery of the Iya Valley.
