  • married couple and I are going on a sightseeing trip to Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki Prefecture.

I'm traveling to Miyazaki Prefecture for the first time. I'd like to visit Takachiho Gorge, known as the "mystical village." While I'm there, I'd also like to stay at Ryokan (Japanese inn) traditional Japanese inn) in Miyazaki Prefecture and enjoy the delicious local cuisine. My wife and I are Ryokan (Japanese inn) together, so could you recommend any ryokans in Miyazaki Prefecture?

  • This luxurious inn is independent guest cottages building where all rooms are designed to emphasize privacy and come with a private open-air bath. Dinner is a course meal made with high-quality ingredients from Takachiho, including local Wagyu beef. Takachiho Shrine is also easily accessible, making it a great base for sightseeing.

  • You can enjoy local Wagyu beef to your heart's content.

  • If you'd like to combine your visit to Takachiho Gorge with a taste of Miyazaki cuisine, why not try Ryokan (Japanese inn) Shinsen? Here, you can enjoy Miyazaki's famous Wagyu beef, such as Takachiho Beef and Ozaki Beef, as well as colorful, creative kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with fresh local mountain vegetables and river fish. Both dinner and breakfast can be enjoyed in the privacy of a private room at the restaurant.
