  • What hotels are recommended near Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden?

I'm planning a trip to Kanazawa soon and am looking for a recommended hotel that's convenient for sightseeing at Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden. As someone who lives in Japan, what kind of hotel would you recommend? I'd be grateful if you could tell me about the hotel's unique features, such as great views, relaxing onsen(hot spring), and delicious food. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Natural Hotsprings Kaga-no-Hozen Onyado Nono Kanazawa

1-1 Shimotsutsumi-cho, Kanazawa-shi

  • Start your day with a seafood-packed breakfast

  • "Onyado Nono Kanazawa" is highly recommended as it is conveniently located for sightseeing. The breakfast buffet is also excellent, with unlimited seafood such as salmon roe and sweet shrimp. It's really fun to be able to create your own original seafood bowl. Located right next to "Omicho Market," the ingredients are fresh and delicious. They also offer free "Yonakisoba (noodles sold by a hawker at night)" (ramen) in the evenings, which is a real treat for foodies.

THE HOTEL SANRAKU KANAZAWA

1-1-1 Owaricho

  • Enjoy the flavors of Kanazawa from the morning

  • I highly recommend trying the breakfast at Hotel Sanraku Kanazawa. The breakfast buffet here has received rave reviews and is truly excellent. There's an abundance of local ingredients, from fresh seafood to salads made with Kaga vegetables and dishes made with Noto beef. There's also a live kitchen, so you can enjoy freshly cooked food. You'll feel like you've eaten all the delicious things Kanazawa has to offer, right from the start of the day. Of course, Kenrokuen Garden is just a short walk away.

Hotel Intergate Kanazawa

2-5 Takaokamachi

  • Healthy breakfast and large public baths to support your sightseeing

  • If you're planning on sightseeing at Kanazawa Castle or Kenrokuen Garden, this hotel is a great base. There are two points I'd like to recommend. The first is the large public bath. After a long day of sightseeing, it's really helpful to be able to relax in a spacious bath. The other is the breakfast. They serve a buffet of unique vegetable dishes and freshly baked bread. After eating a hearty breakfast of delicious vegetables, I was able to set off on my sightseeing in high spirits.

UAN kanazawa

6-30 Oyamamachi

  • A local sake bar and soba noodles for a satisfying finale

  • We recommend "Uan Kanazawa." Omicho Market is also within walking distance. The service at the lounge "Hare no Ma" is appealing, and in the evenings it transforms into a "sake bar" where you can sample delicious local sake from Ishikawa Prefecture (for a fee). You can also discuss your preferences with the staff. From 9 p.m. onward, you can even enjoy complimentary soba noodles. After a delicious dinner outside, return to the hotel for a drink with local sake and finish off with some soba noodles. This is the perfect way to enjoy a night in Kanazawa.

Hyatt Centric Kanazawa

1-5-2 Hirooka

  • Conveniently connected to Kanazawa Station, making it the perfect base for sightseeing

  • The Hyatt Centric Kanazawa is directly connected to Kanazawa Station, making it convenient for getting around. A major advantage is that you can get around without getting wet even on rainy or snowy days. Major tourist destinations such as Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Garden, and Omicho Market are easily accessible by bus from the bus terminal in front of the station. The hotel is new and very comfortable, and I think it's the perfect base for those who want to actively explore the area.
