  • Hotel Nikko Fukuoka
  • Looking for Hotels with Excellent Subway or Bus Access from Fukuoka Airport (FUK) near Hakata/Tenjin!

I will be using Fukuoka Airport (FUK) for my trip to Kyushu. I heard that Fukuoka Airport is very close to the city center, so I want to stay in a hotel with great access from the airport so I can start sightseeing right away. Specifically, I'm looking for hotels that offer direct subway access without transfers or hotels that provide a free shuttle bus service for easy handling of heavy luggage. Please recommend the best hotels located around Hakata Station or Tenjin, which are convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. As a foreign traveler, I would also appreciate tips on how to use the subway and any useful information about the Fukuoka Airport area (e.g., ease of late-night travel)!

  • Accessible from Fukuoka Airport by subway without transfers

From Fukuoka Airport, you can take the subway directly to Tenjin Station, which takes just 11 minutes, making it extremely convenient. Hotel Oriental Express Fukuoka Nakasu Kawabata

No. 26, 6-chome, Tenyamachi

  • Convenient access and proximity to tourist spots are attractive features

  • The biggest attraction of this hotel is its direct access from Fukuoka Airport via the subway's Airport Line. Nakasu-Kawabata Station has an elevator, so moving around with heavy luggage is easy. Nearby, tourist spots such as the food stall district, where Hakata's gourmet food is gathered, and Canal City Hakata are within walking distance. The subway runs until late at night, but it's a good idea to check the time of the last train in advance to be safe!
