Looking for a Comfortable and Cost-Effective Capsule Hotel in Fukuoka. Any recommendations for first-timers?
I'd like to save on accommodation costs during my Fukuoka trip, so I want to try staying at a Capsule Hotel for a unique Japanese lodging experience. Since I'm a first-time user, I'm looking for facilities that are clean, have good security, and are safe for beginners. Please recommend the best spots in areas convenient for street food, ramen, and sightseeing, such as Hakata Station, Tenjin, or Nakasu. Also, I'd appreciate any advice on the general rules and etiquette for using a capsule hotel, as well as how to manage my luggage (suitcases)!
- First Cabin is a brand that represents Japan's capsule hotel culture. Based on the concept of "first class on an airplane," the hotel is spacious and has higher ceilings than typical capsule hotels, making it recommended for first-time capsule hotel guests. It is directly connected to Nakasu-Kawabata Subway Station, so you can check in without getting wet even on rainy days. There is also a large public bath, so you can relax and soothe your travel fatigue. Large suitcases cannot be brought into the cabins (guest rooms), but you can store them in the lockers or ask reception desk if you would like them to be left there, so please ask.NaoK (Early 30s Female)'s answer (Posted on:2025/11/20)

Within walking distance to Tenjin and Nakasu!
- This capsule hotel is located right next to Kushidajinja-mae subway station, which allows you to walk to the food stalls in Tenjin and Nakasu. It's also close to Kushida Shrine, famous for the Gion Yamakasa festival, making it the perfect base for strolling around Hakata 's old townscape. It has a women-only dormitory area. The accommodation fee is reasonable and good value for money, and you can store your luggage in the lockers near your bed. There's also a shared lounge and kitchen!MariT (Late 40s Female)'s answer (Posted on:2025/11/20)

Attractive futuristic design
- Conveniently located directly connected to Nakasu-Kawabata Station, this hotel is ideal for those looking to save on accommodation costs. The rooms and shared shower rooms are clean and security is also a priority. Store your luggage in a locker and use the safety deposit box for valuables. Please note that even if you are staying multiple nights, you must check out and check back in by 10:00 AM each day. Eating, drinking, and talking are strictly prohibited in the cabins, but the quiet atmosphere makes it ideal for resting. Close to Nakasu and Tenjin, this is a great location for a base to enjoy Fukuoka's gourmet food and sightseeing.Kentaro (Early 40s Male)'s answer (Posted on:2025/11/20)

An advanced hotel just a 1-minute walk from Nakasu-Kawabata Station
- It's located just a one-minute walk from Nakasu-Kawabata Station. The rooms and common areas are kept clean, and there are plenty of services, including free coffee. There is a women-only area, so women can use it with peace of mind. This hotel is an "evolved capsule" that is more spacious than a typical capsule hotel, and has a reputation for being highly comfortable, with units equipped with projectors. Luggage (suitcases) can be left in a dedicated locker with a lock.Mii (Late 20s Female)'s answer (Posted on:2025/11/20)
