Foreigner-friendly hotel! Please tell me a hot spring inn near the Kanto region that has a Japanese atmosphere and where English is spoken! [Under 20,000 yen per night]
I would like to know about recommended hot spring inns for a foreign married couple visiting the Kanto region of Japan in August. Ideally, they would like a place with buildings and services that give a traditional Japanese feel, and where English is available. Our budget is less than 20,000 yen per person per night.
13Hotel rankings chosen by people
- It's a traditional Japanese-style hotel that even Japanese people can feel the tradition of, so I think even foreigners who don't like Ryokan (Japanese inn) will like it. It's conveniently located in Hakone, and you can easily access it from the city center by Romancecar, so you can enjoy the travel experience from inside the car, even if you can't drive.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

A hotel surrounded by Nature

Nikko is popular among foreigners in the Kanto area. Nikko Kanaya Hotel is close to the station, but if you want a hotel with a hot spring, this is the place to go. There is a free shuttle bus from Tobu Nikko Station, so access is not a problem. The hot spring has an open-air bath and a nice atmosphere, and since it is part of the Kanaya Hotel chain, the hospitality is impeccable.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

A hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) where you can enjoy a variety of baths
- The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the hotel has a variety of hot spring baths. The open-air bath on the rooftop, where you can feel the great outdoors, is especially recommended. The large public bath will also satisfy foreigners. It may be difficult to make reservations during the autumn foliage season, so it's best to act early. The food is also satisfying and comforting.たけし32's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

Cozy and reasonably priced
- This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in Shima Onsen, Gunma Prefecture. I have stayed there twice, and the food is very healthy and delicious, using seasonal ingredients. Above all, the staff are friendly and unobtrusive, and I felt that they were trying to meet the needs of the guests as much as possible, which made it a very comfortable stay.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

English menu & Wi-Fi
- This hotel offers a view of Mt. Fuji, a view that represents "Japan-ness," from every room, and the hotel also offers high-quality English support and hot springs. The hotel also has a full range of recreational facilities, including tennis and table tennis. Foreigners will also be pleased to know that Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.atom's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

Old-fashioned Meiji-era exterior and Matsumoto furniture
- The lobby features the historic Matsumoto Furniture store and the large wooden washbasin in the bathroom. The hotel is surrounded by streets that still retain the atmosphere of the Meiji period, with Matsumoto Castle just a five minute walk away and Kaichi School just beyond that, giving the hotel an atmosphere reminiscent of Japan's old days. A short walk away is the newer shopping street. You can enjoy both the old and new streets.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

Offering open-air bath in guest rooms and free WiFi foreigner
- The Japanese-style setting and the open-air baths in the rooms emphasize privacy while still allowing you to enjoy the open-air baths, which I think will satisfy foreigners. Free Wi-Fi will also be popular with foreigners. You can take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Tonosawa Station, and it is easy to access the public transportation to a place where you can see Mt. Fuji.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

Enjoy the blue sky and ocean views while soaking in hot spring
- It is a sophisticated, prestigious hotel, quiet and calm inside. In addition, the entire building has an ocean view, so you can enjoy the sunrise over the sea in the morning. The hot spring is recommended, with a panoramic view of the sea, and the indoor cypress bath is recommended. The food is also impeccable, as the staff are well trained. In particular, there are Atami Castle, Atami Plum Garden, and the hotel's own herb garden nearby, so foreigners will surely be satisfied.過去から抜け出せない人間's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

A homely and simple Japanese inn run by a young owner for foreigner
- The young owner is a foreigner who loves hot springs, so I think he can speak English. The official website is also available in English. The guest rooms are Japanese-style (I think all rooms are Japanese-style), and you can see a Japanese garden-like courtyard from the rooms and the open-air bath, so you can really feel like you're in Japan. The hot spring flows 24 hours a day, and the meals are made with plenty of ingredients from Shinshu, such as mountain vegetables and kanroni. The couple's homely and warm service is very comfortable, and I think it's a nostalgic Ryokan (Japanese inn).ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

A hotel located right in front of Gora Station
- It's also convenient to get there by train. reception desk and other areas are like a hotel, but the rooms are Japanese-style and you can enjoy the atmosphere of a Japanese hot spring, including an open-air bath. There is an English website, and the reviews say that there are staff who can speak English. When I stayed there, I saw several foreign guests. If you avoid the Obon period, I think you can stay for less than 20,000 yen.otohime's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

Enjoy French kaiseki cuisine in a hot spring with Breathtaking view view
- I stayed here with a friend before. It's relatively close to Tokyo, but the whole town has the atmosphere of a hot spring resort, and it feels like a very good old Japan. The view of the nearby open-air bath that seems to connect to the sea is amazing! The food is French kaiseki, so I think it's easy for foreigners to eat.mr's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

About half of the users are foreigner.
- Many crew members from overseas airlines are staying here. There are indoor and outdoor pools, and the poolside BBQ is very delicious and reasonably priced. I think the price is less than 20,000 yen for two people. Of course, English is spoken everywhere in the building.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)
