  • Shimoda Prince Hotel
  • I want to see the first sunrise from the sea! Please tell me where I can stay at a hotel that has a hot spring and two meals for around 15,000 yen per night.

This is the first New Year's Eve for married couple and I, so I want to spend it in a way that will be memorable. Please tell me a hot spring inn with a beach within walking distance of the hotel where I can see the first sunrise from the sea. My budget is about 15,000 yen per person for one night with two meals.

Shimoda Prince Hotel

1547-1,Shirahama,Shimoda-city

  • The sea is right in front of you, so you can see the sunrise and sunset perfectly.

  • The hotel itself has the appearance of an old resort hotel. The sea in front of the hotel has a lot of rocks, so it 's not suitable for swimming. The room was just renovated, so it was clean. The observation bath has a great view and you can enjoy the sunrise from there. The food was Japanese French, and we enjoyed grilled spiny lobster and golden-eyed snapper. Breakfast was a buffet of Japanese and Western food, which was also delicious.

  • A hot spring inn with the sea right in front of you and a view of Izu Oshima

  • This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in Atagawa on the Izu Peninsula. Atagawa is known as one of the most popular areas in the Izu Peninsula, which is famous for its hot springs. Our Ryokan (Japanese inn) is located in Atagawa, and the sea is right in front of us, with a panoramic view of the sea from the rooms, open-air baths, and large public baths.

  • All rooms have ocean views

  • We recommend "Uminochou Ryokan" in Mie Prefecture! Please go and check it out. All rooms at this hotel have an ocean view, so you can see the sun rising over the horizon from your room without having to go to the beach, which is crowded with people watching the first sunrise of the year.

  • The Pacific Ocean is right in front of the open-air bath

  • Located in Shinhidaka Town, Hokkaido, the open-air bath of this hotel is right in front of the Pacific Ocean. Cape Erimo is one of the best places in Hokkaido to see the first sunrise of the year, but I thought this facility was the best place to go for a hot spring, so I recommended it. It's good value for money, with two meals included for just 10,000 yen, and a boat-shaped sashimi platter is also included.

Hokkawa Hot Spring, Higashiizu-cho, Kamo-gun

  • hot spring inn in Izu where you can see the sunrise from open-air bath

  • This hotel is located in Higashiizu. It faces Sagami Bay, so the sunrise is a spectacular sight. The hotel has an open-air bath, so you can enjoy the sunrise while soaking in the hot spring. There is also a public bath, which is nice. The price of the room was reasonable, probably because it was on sale.

Ocean View Resort Sunrise Kujukuri

4908 Magame, Kujukuri-machi, Sanbu-gun

  • You can see the first sunrise from the observation bath.

  • This inn overlooking the Pacific Ocean is a national guesthouse, so you can stay there reasonably. The observation bath has a panoramic view of the ocean, making it the perfect location to watch the first sunrise of the year. Of course, you can see it from your room too. The meal was a delicious kaiseki meal featuring delicious local seafood. The room was so clean that it was hard to believe it was a national guesthouse, and had a resort feel to it.

  • The view of the sunrise from open-air bath is amazing

  • Minamisanriku Hotel Kanyo is a seaside hotel facing the Pacific Ocean in the northeastern part of Miyagi Prefecture. With an unobstructed view of the sea, the views of the sunrise from the rooms, open-air baths, and large public baths are amazing. In addition, the hotel is run by Kesennuma's Abe Cho Shoten, so you can enjoy fresh seafood dishes.

Isohara Seaside Hotel

Isoharacho Isohara 2550

  • You can see the first sunrise from your room.

  • How about the Isohara Seaside Hotel? You can see the ocean from every room here, so you can get a great view of the first sunrise of the year. The hotel is also famous for its open-air bath on the rooftop, and if it's clear at night, you can soak in the bath while gazing at the starry sky. The food is mainly seafood, and everything was delicious.

  • You can see the sunrise and Mt. Fuji

  • You can watch the sunrise and Mt. Fuji from the open-air rooftop bath. It's nice to be able to see the first sunrise of the year without having to step out of the hotel during the cold season. It's not far from the metropolitan area, and you can enjoy seafood, so I recommend it.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Hotel Sokan

1-1 Isozakihama, Matsushima-cho, Miyagi-gun, Miyagi 981-0212

  • You can see the first sunrise of the year in Matsushima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots.

  • This is a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in Matsushima, Miyagi Prefecture. The first sunrise of the year seen from Matsushima, one of the Three Views of Japan, will surely be a good memory. There are also cruise ships available, so that might be a good option. Ryokan (Japanese inn) is located on the seafront, with a nice view, a good bath, and delicious food.
