Access was smooth because the ryokan is easily reachable by train from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The atmosphere upon arrival felt instantly luxurious and absolutely perfect for our anniversary trip. The dinner, which was a beautiful creative Kaiseki course using local ingredients, was truly artistic and deeply impressive. With the high-quality service and the private onsen right there, we made the best possible memories.すらりん's answer (Posted on:2025/9/29)

Superb Dining and Excellent Complimentary Services
- The hotel's services were incredibly satisfying. We were impressed by the free amenities, including the complimentary private onsen and the delicious late-night yonaki soba (ramen). The dinner was a spectacular creative Kaiseki course that was both generous and extremely flavorful—truly fitting for an anniversary celebration. The quality of the services and the superb dining, combined with the room's private tub, made this a genuinely luxurious Hakone ryokan experience.ゆきち's answer (Posted on:2025/9/29)

A hotel close to Hakone Yumoto
-
This is a long-established luxury hotel in Hakone Yumoto. It's about a 5-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station. If you browse the souvenir shops, you'll arrive at Ryokan (Japanese inn) while you're still having fun. It's not aimed at group tourists, so you can enjoy the hot springs and cuisine in peace. There are also rooms with free-100% natural hot spring and an open-air bath with a view, so you can fully enjoy the hot springs. The service is also attentive, so you won't go wrong choosing Ryokan (Japanese inn).ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

Enjoy Hakone Yumoto Onsen with a wide variety of bathing facilities
- I have stayed at Hotel Okada. We went with our children so we chose a cheaper plan, but the main building had a room with an open-air bath and the interior had a very luxurious atmosphere. The food was also pretty good. What I recommend about this hotel is that it has a day spa, and there are 13 open-air baths in the large communal bath, so you can enjoy a variety of different hot springs. I think it's a good choice for people who want to relax at the hotel.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

Renovated hotel in Hakone
- The hotel has undergone a major renovation, so you can stay in beautiful rooms. What's more, rooms with a semi-open-air hot spring bath start at 20,000 yen per person, and all the newly built rooms are non-smoking. There is a shuttle bus from Hakone-Yumoto Station, so it's convenient. The hotel is also conveniently located, about 12 minutes on foot.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

Stylish room with open-air bath
- You can spend a relaxing time together in the open-air bath of natural hot springs while looking out over Hakone Yumoto from your modern room. The atmosphere inside the hotel is sophisticated and urban, even though it is a hot spring inn. The food is wonderful and creative Japanese cuisine, so it is good to eat and good to look at. Breakfast is also very enjoyable with many different types of side dishes in small portions. Highly recommended. It is about a 10-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station, and you can move around while enjoying the unique atmosphere of the hot spring town and souvenir shops.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)

It is just a 6-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station.
-
Since you're going by train, I think this inn is perfect. It's about a 6-minute walk from Odawara Station and Hakone-Yumoto Station. You can also use the shuttle bus from the station to the inn for 100 yen per person. It's a Japanese-style Ryokan (Japanese inn) in a quiet environment surrounded by greenery, with a lovely exterior. Each room has a different feel, so please choose the room you like. All the rooms are lovely and modern Japanese. I stayed in the "Soun" room. The open-air bath with a view of the garden was very pleasant. The lighting in the room created a nice atmosphere, and it was a very nice room.ぽよよん's answer (Posted on:2015/11/15)
