Hakone Ginyu

100-1 Miyanoshita, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun

  • Perfect Hakone Anniversary Trip: Gourmet Dining and Easy Train Access

  • Access was smooth because the ryokan is easily reachable by train from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The atmosphere upon arrival felt instantly luxurious and absolutely perfect for our anniversary trip. The dinner, which was a beautiful creative Kaiseki course using local ingredients, was truly artistic and deeply impressive. With the high-quality service and the private onsen right there, we made the best possible memories.

  • Unforgettable Private Onsen with Infinity View

  • We stayed here on our wedding anniversary trip. The view from the open-air baths in all rooms was truly amazing. The infinity view of the mountains stretching out beyond the valley, as if the hot onsen(hot spring) were continuing into the sky, was breathtaking. It was wonderful to be able to have Breathtaking view all to ourselves, whenever we wanted, without being disturbed by anyone. This is the perfect place for couples looking for a special, luxurious stay.

  • Luxury accommodation with a Balinese atmosphere

  • It is a 3-minute walk from Hakone Miyanoshita Station. The lobby is on the top floor and you can take a break on the terrace overlooking the Hakone mountains. The welcome drink is an original drink from the stylish bar next to the lobby with an aquarium. You can enjoy a beer or a drink after your bath in the garden lounge with a terrace. The rooms with open-air baths are spacious, measuring 8 tatami mats x 8 tatami mats, and you can relax with in-room dining.

  • A Japanese-style Ryokan (Japanese inn) where you can enjoy a resort atmosphere

  • I would like to recommend the famous Hakone Ginyu. It is a 3-minute walk from Miyanoshita Station. The accommodation fee is quite expensive, but if you want to treat yourself or your girlfriend, this is a Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) where you can relax and enjoy a resort-like atmosphere. All rooms have an open terrace and an open-air hot spring bath, so you can spend your time luxuriously enjoying the spectacular Breathtaking view. The large public bath also has Breathtaking view view of the Hakone mountain range, so you can bathe feeling like you are one with nature.

  • Enjoy Breathtaking view of the valley from the open-air bath

  • Although it is a little expensive, I recommend Hakone Ginyu. If you get off at Miyanoshita Station, it is close and takes less than 5 minutes on foot. All rooms have open-air baths, and you can enjoy Breathtaking view of the valley, as if you are blending into nature. The garden lounge also has a nice atmosphere and is recommended.

Tokinoyu Setsugetsuka

1300-34 Gora, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun

  • Superb Dining and Excellent Complimentary Services

  • The hotel's services were incredibly satisfying. We were impressed by the free amenities, including the complimentary private onsen and the delicious late-night yonaki soba (ramen). The dinner was a spectacular creative Kaiseki course that was both generous and extremely flavorful—truly fitting for an anniversary celebration. The quality of the services and the superb dining, combined with the room's private tub, made this a genuinely luxurious Hakone ryokan experience.

  • Private Onsen in Every Room and Easy Train Access

  • We booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary, attracted by the luxury of having an open-air bath in every room. It was amazing to be able to bathe in onsen(hot spring) as many times as we wanted, without being disturbed by anyone! Another big attraction was the convenient location, just a short walk from Gora Station. It was easy to get around even with a lot of luggage, and we felt it was an excellent base for sightseeing in Hakone. We visited during the autumn foliage season, so the scenery was spectacular.

  • I used it with my girlfriend on the recommendation of an acquaintance.

  • If you take the mountain railway from Hakone Yumoto to Gora Station, it's only a 1-2 minute walk. It's also conveniently located for dining and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable, and although small, it had an open-air bath. Of course, the large open-air bath with 100% natural hot spring is also recommended. There are several family baths (open-air, no reservation required), and each one is different, so you can enjoy them in the morning and evening. Overall, I recommend it as it's good value for money and suitable for couples.

  • hot spring inn located 1 minute walk from Gora Station

  • This hotel is a one-minute walk from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Railway. All rooms at this inn have an 100% natural hot spring-air cypress bath. The baths in the rooms are not hot springs, but the large public bath and private baths are available for soaking in hot springs that flow directly from the source. For meals, you can enjoy hot pots made with seasonal ingredients, Japanese kaiseki meals, or sushi kaiseki meals. As it is located near Gora Station, it is highly recommended as it is convenient to access tourist spots in the area.

Hakone Tenseien Hotel

682 Yumoto, Hakone-machi, Ashigara-shimogun

  • A luxurious inn with hot springs

  • Tenseien is a onsen(hot spring) inn with luxurious rooms with attached open-air baths. It is a popular onsen(hot spring) inn, and both the breakfast and dinner are luxurious and delicious. The hot onsen(hot spring), both the private baths and the large public baths, are spacious and relaxing. The inn is well-maintained and clean, so you can feel at ease while you're there.

  • It has a luxurious feel! The food is delicious!

  • When you get off at Hakone-Yumoto Station, walk along the souvenir street eating a soft serve coffee and turn to the side and you will see Tenseien. The souvenir street is what makes you feel like you're in Hakone. There are about three types of rooms with open-air baths, and when I stayed there, I had a Japanese-style room. It was very clean and relaxing. The food Buffet has a good balance of Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes, so even if you have food preferences, it's fine. I think it's the best place to celebrate an anniversary.

Hakone Hotel Kajikaso

688 Yumoto, Hakone-machi, Ashigawashimo-gun

  • A hotel close to Hakone Yumoto

  • This is a long-established luxury hotel in Hakone Yumoto. It's about a 5-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station. If you browse the souvenir shops, you'll arrive at Ryokan (Japanese inn) while you're still having fun. It's not aimed at group tourists, so you can enjoy onsen(hot spring) and cuisine in peace. There are also rooms with free-100% natural hot spring and an open-air bath with a view, so you can fully enjoy onsen(hot spring). The service is also attentive, so you won't go wrong choosing Ryokan (Japanese inn).

Hotel Okada

191 Yumoto Chaya, Hakone-Machi, Ashigarashimo-Gun

  • Enjoy Hakone Yumoto Onsen with a wide variety of bathing facilities

  • I have stayed at Hotel Okada. We went with our children so we chose a cheaper plan, but the main building had a room with an open-air bath and the interior had a very luxurious atmosphere. The food was also pretty good. What I recommend about this hotel is that it has a day spa, and there are 13 open-air baths in the large communal bath, so you can enjoy a variety of different hot springs. I think it's a good choice for people who want to relax at the hotel.

Hakone Pax Yoshino

139-5 Yumotochaya, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun

  • Renovated hotel in Hakone

  • The hotel has undergone a major renovation, so you can stay in beautiful rooms. What's more, rooms with a semi-open-air hot spring bath start at 20,000 yen per person, and all the newly built rooms are non-smoking. There is a shuttle bus from Hakone-Yumoto Station, so it's convenient. The hotel is also conveniently located, about 12 minutes on foot.

Ryokan Aura Tachibana

574 Yumoto, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun

  • Stylish room with open-air bath

  • You can spend a relaxing time together in the open-air bath of natural hot springs while looking out over Hakone Yumoto from your modern room. The atmosphere inside the hotel is sophisticated and urban, even though it is a hot spring inn. The food is wonderful and creative Japanese cuisine, so it is good to eat and good to look at. Breakfast is also very enjoyable with many different types of side dishes in small portions. Highly recommended. It is about a 10-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station, and you can move around while enjoying the unique atmosphere of the hot spring town and souvenir shops.

Hakoneyumoto Onsen Yaeikan

484 Yumoto, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun

  • It is just a 6-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station.

  • Since you're going by train, I think this inn is perfect. It's about a 6-minute walk from Odawara Station and Hakone-Yumoto Station. You can also use the shuttle bus from the station to the inn for 100 yen per person. It's a Japanese-style Ryokan (Japanese inn) in a quiet environment surrounded by greenery, with a lovely exterior. Each room has a different feel, so please choose the room you like. All the rooms are lovely and modern Japanese. I stayed in the "Soun" room. The open-air bath with a view of the garden was very pleasant. The lighting in the room created a nice atmosphere, and it was a very nice room.
