I haven't been to Kansai much, but I'm going to Osaka to go to Universal Studios Japan with my children. I would be happy if you could tell me about tourist spots in Osaka that are fun for children, as well as recommended hotels and Ryokan (Japanese inn).

This is a chain hotel in the center of Shinsaibashi. They offer free breakfast in the morning. There are many restaurants nearby so you won't have any problems finding dinner. Kaiyukan is one of the world's largest aquariums. The view from the tunnel-shaped tank called the Aqua Gate is Breathtaking view, as it feels like you are walking on the ocean floor. I often stayed at this hotel for work, and it was very convenient because it was reasonably priced even though it was in front of the station. The rooms were clean and stylish. If you come to Osaka, I recommend Tennoji Zoo. Kaiyukan is good, but it's crowded and expensive. In comparison, Tennoji Zoo is surprisingly cheap and still enjoyable. It's especially recommended if you have small children. If you save money and visit the observation deck of Abeno Harukas and conquer Tsutenkaku, you can say you've enjoyed Osaka to the fullest. This hotel is recommended as a base for doing so. The marionettes at Harukas are good, but very expensive. If you want to keep your accommodation costs down, I recommend Miyako City Osaka Tennoji, which is close to Tennoji Station.
