Can you recommend a cheap hotel for a solo traveler to Otaru? I'd prefer a simple hotel that's clean and tidy.

  • Hotels with easy access to tourist attractions

  • It's a 6-7 minute walk from JR Otaru Station, so it's easy to get to Sapporo. You can walk to Otaru Canal, a tourist spot in Otaru, in less than 10 minutes. The hotel's interior and facilities look old, but the cleaning was good and the room was clean.

  • The hotel is clean and has good access to tourist spots.

  • It's a small hotel, but it's clean and has a nice atmosphere. I remember that the price wasn't too high. It's right next to the famous Otaru cafe "Amatou", and it's also close to the Otaru Canal and Otaru Vine. If you're looking for a cheaper hotel closer to the station, the national chain Dormy Inn, which also has hot springs, might be a good choice.
