Can you recommend a cheap hotel for a solo traveler to Otaru? I'd prefer a simple hotel that's clean and tidy.

  • I would recommend this hotel depending on the time of your visit.

  • Even on a carefree trip, a safe place is essential. This is a wonderful hotel with no flaws. The exterior of the hotel is made of stone, and the interior is retro and modern, with a Meiji era feel. It depends on the season, but you can stay here reasonably. I recommend choosing a plan that doesn't include meals, and going to eat sushi in the town of Otaru at night! It may seem a little extravagant, but you can stay here cheaply in the off-season.
