• Good location, just a short walk from the hotel to the downtown area

• If you are staying for leisure or sightseeing purposes, a business hotel in Umeda or Shinsaibashi would be good. I recommend a hotel located so that you can walk home after having a delicious meal and drink in the evening. Hotel Sunroute Umeda is close to Nakatsu, but if you walk towards Umeda you will soon reach the downtown area. There are plenty of restaurants, so it is very convenient. There is also a convenience store nearby. reception desk and rooms are clean. It is a reasonable hotel.

• If you're going to Universal Studios, I recommend the Universal Tower at Hotel Keihan, which is right in front of the hotel. Since it's right in front of the hotel, you don't have to worry about trains and can play until late at night, or you can go back in the morning for another day. What's more, the hotel itself is clean, the view is great, and you can see Universal Studios from your room or the observation bath on the top floor, and the night view is also beautiful. There's a convenience store below, so you can buy breakfast and drinks there, and since Universal City is in front of it, there are plenty of places to eat. There are also super cheap plans on weekdays, so if you look online you can find a cheap place to stay. It's also cute that the room amenities feature Universal characters.

Or leave early in the morning, sleep at the hotel, and rely on your physical strength. For the former, you'll have to choose between official hotels, but for the latter, there are many options. If it's within my personal tolerance, I'd like to be able to leave at any time and walk there, or at least stay within a few stations. The reason is that the departure time for USJ is tied to the train schedule. There are no suitable hotels at Nishikujo Station, so I recommend this hotel at the next station, Noda Station. If you're in a hurry, you can connect with the first train on the inner loop line.
