Hot Springs Ryokans with Rooms Overlooking the Atami Fireworks?
I'm planning a trip to see the Atami Sea Fireworks Festival with two friends. We'd love to stay in a hot springs ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) where we can enjoy the fireworks beautifully from our room. Do you have any recommendations? Our budget is around 20,000 yen per person per night. We're flexible on room and meal types.

- My spouse and I recently stayed at "Tsukino Sumika Atami Juraku Hotel," which is incredibly convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Atami Station. Our main goal was to see the Atami Sea Fireworks Festival from our room! From the ocean-facing room we stayed in, the fireworks launched right in front of us, and the sheer power of it left us speechless. Being able to witness such a magnificent fireworks display in a private space truly felt like the ultimate luxury. If you pick the right season and plan, you can stay for around 20,000 yen per person, which is an incredible value for this quality. We had both dinner and breakfast in our room, which meant we didn't have to move and could relax without worrying about others. The dishes featured fresh seafood and local ingredients like Izu beef. The freshly cooked kamameshi (rice cooked in a pot) for breakfast and the self-grilled Atami specialty dried fish were unforgettable. The hot springs were also superb; Atami Onsen, known for its skin-beautifying effects, left our skin smooth and soft after bathing. Besides the large public bath, there were also free-to-use private baths, which was great for enjoying the hot springs leisurely with my spouse. And the warm hospitality of the staff truly left a lasting impression. Their meticulous attention to detail and smiling service helped us relax and forget our daily fatigue. The best view from the hotel
- I recommend Atami Juraku Hotel. This hotel is located on a hilltop, so you can see the sea of Atami below, and the view alone is worth choosing.
