Hot Springs Ryokans with Rooms Overlooking the Atami Fireworks?
I'm planning a trip to see the Atami Sea Fireworks Festival with two friends. We'd love to stay in a hot springs ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) where we can enjoy the fireworks beautifully from our room. Do you have any recommendations? Our budget is around 20,000 yen per person per night. We're flexible on room and meal types.

- Hotel New Akao is an exceptional hotel perched dramatically over the ocean at Nishikigaura, one of Atami's most scenic spots. While all rooms boast ocean views, if you stay in an Ocean Wing room facing Atami City, you'll get an unobstructed view of the fireworks. Even if you're not in an Ocean Wing room, the hotel offers special viewing seats exclusively for guests, making it a top recommendation for anyone wanting to enjoy the fireworks festival..モモンガ's answer (Posted on:2025/7/18)

All rooms at this hotel have ocean views.
- All rooms have ocean views, but only some of them have a view of the fireworks, so please check before making a reservation. If you are unable to make a reservation, don't worry, you can still watch from the lobby terrace on the top floor of the hotel. There are seats available for guests to sit on, such as on the lobby terrace, so you can enjoy the view with peace of mind! There is a hot spring where you can enjoy Breathtaking view view, and a unique, luxurious, huge restaurant with a partially glass-walled, open feel. There is also a shuttle bus from Atami Station, so access is easy. However, the fireworks period is a popular time, so you may have to go a little over your budget. However, it is recommended as you can see Breathtaking view fireworks without the crowds!tomato's answer (Posted on:2025/7/18)

There is also a fireworks viewing stand available for hotel guests.
- At Hotel New Akao, you can sit in the viewing seats reserved for guests and watch the fireworks up close. I was so impressed when I went there for the first time that I thought I would never be able to see fireworks in crowded places in the city again. The hot springs also had an infinity-design open-air bath, so I was able to spend a luxurious time. This is a hotel I would like to return to again and again.kanatomo's answer (Posted on:2016/4/11)
