There are few hotels around Meiji Shrine, so you have to go to Shibuya or Shinjuku, but this Dormy Inn is a 10-minute walk from Harajuku Station, so it's also recommended for sightseeing in Harajuku. There is a large public bath on the second floor, and in addition to the indoor bath, there is also a high-temperature sauna and a cold bath, so if you like saunas, this is the place to stay. There are only twin rooms, so you will probably have to stay in more than one room, but you can stretch your legs out in the large bath, and there are plenty of free services, such as a free midnight snack (Dormy Inn's specialty Yonakisoba (noodles sold by a hawker at night)) and free ice cream after the bath.

A hotel that can accommodate up to 4 people in the same room, 7 minutes from Shibuya Station
-
This hotel has spacious family rooms with an area of 35 m2. The family rooms can accommodate up to four people, so they are recommended for families. It is a 7-minute walk from the Hachiko Exit of Shibuya Station, so it is also recommended as a base for sightseeing. Meiji Shrine can be reached from Shibuya to Harajuku in one stop on the Yamanote Line, or within 20 minutes on foot. Omotesando and other areas are within walking distance, and it is one subway stop away, making it convenient for sightseeing around Harajuku. It is close to Shibuya Station, so you will not have any trouble finding restaurants. There are department stores and other places to enjoy shopping. There is also a convenience store nearby. I think this is a sufficient hotel if your purpose is not to enjoy a hotel stay.

The hotel is located in Miyashita Park in Shibuya.
-
The closest hotel to Meiji Shrine is Harajuku, but you can also walk to Shibuya, so we recommend hotels in Shibuya. It is a 7-minute walk from the Hachiko exit of JR Shibuya Station. Check-out is at 2 p.m., and check-in is at 5 p.m., so it is recommended for those with children. Up to 6 people can stay in the same room. You can see the whole of Shibuya from the room.

One child up to 12 years old is free per one bed!
-
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station, across from Miyashita Park, and offers a plan that includes breakfast, and homemade bread is also available. There is no unit bath, only a shower booth, but children up to 12 years old can stay for free per bed, so I think it is a cheap hotel in Shibuya. If you want to go to Meiji Shrine, it is a 15-minute walk to Harajuku Station while looking at the National Yoyogi Stadium, so why not take a stroll around the city? There is also a guide article on walking around the city on the hotel's official website.

How about a designer hotel with a bit more character than a business hotel?
-
This is a designer hotel with simple, compact rooms. There are many vintage American furniture, but there are also rooms where you can sleep on a futon laid out on tatami mats. If you want a truly Japanese experience, we recommend a room with a futon, but if you're worried about unfamiliar bedding, you can also choose a room with a bed! There is also a cafe attached, so you can casually enjoy a meal or tea. (Cafes at Meiji Jingu and Shibuya are all crowded.)

The hotel is an 8-minute walk from Shibuya Station and close to Shinsen Station.
-
How about Tokyu Stay Shibuya? It's within walking distance from Shibuya Station, but it's also only a 3-minute walk from Shinsen Station, so it's convenient to go anywhere. The residential family type rooms are 40 square meters, which is comparable to a Japanese rental apartment, and come equipped with a washing machine and a kitchen, so it's definitely recommended for a few nights. In particular, the bunk bed rooms have a staircase that makes them feel like a secret base, so children will be excited and happy.

If you have small children, we recommend the Family Twin Room.
-
This hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the New South Exit of Shibuya Station. If you have small children, we recommend the Family Twin Room. Not only is there a bed, but there is also a sofa space to relax on, and the hotel is also well-equipped with a washer/dryer, microwave, and mini kitchen, making it a recommended hotel for long-term stays. There are several Tokyu Stays in Shibuya, but please be careful not to get confused as it is the one at the "New South Exit"!

Hotel in Kabukicho, Shinjuku
-
If you want to go to Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya, and Akihabara, I recommend a hotel in the Shinjuku area. Harajuku and Shibuya can be reached in 2-3 stops on the Yamanote Line, and Akihabara can be reached in 9 stops on the Sobu Line. It's convenient because there are no transfers. This hotel can be accessed from Shinjuku Station via an underground passage without going above ground. It's in Kabukicho, so it's close to restaurants and Don Quijote. There is also a McDonald's near the hotel. The original Japanese teriyaki burger is delicious, so please try it! From Narita Airport, you can take a limousine bus to the west exit of Shinjuku Station, but you must make a reservation, or you can take the Skyliner or Keisei Narita Airport Line to Nippori, then transfer to the Yamanote Line and access Shinjuku without transferring. If you take the limousine bus to Tokyo Station, you can access it from Tokyo Station on the Chuo Line without transferring. The hotel is clean and there is nothing particularly inconvenient about it. Although it is a hotel in Shinjuku, the room was quiet so I was able to sleep soundly.
