If you're visiting Beppu Onsen, I recommend "Sennari." This is a special Ryokan (Japanese inn) that only accepts 8 groups per day. It's conveniently located near the station. The bath is 100% natural hot spring a small open-air bath, it has a great atmosphere. There are plans for meals such as Seki horse mackerel and Bungo beef, so you can choose whichever you like.

The inn is old, but the prices are reasonable. You can use the private baths, known as "Bijin-no-yu (a hot spring of beauty)," but there is also a public bath called Takegawara Onsen, which is one of the most famous in Beppu, nearby, so we recommend you stop by there as well.

This hot spring inn has a relaxing atmosphere with a sukiya-style building where you can see the garden from every room. There are two private hot spring baths where you can enjoy free-flowing hot spring water at any time, including a cypress bath made of ancient cypress, which is rare even in Kyushu, where you can feel the warmth of the wood, so you can spend a relaxing time here.

There is a high-temperature bathtub, a low-temperature bathtub, a cypress bath, and a sauna on the 3rd floor of Rinkawakaku. There is a large granite observation bath that can be entered 24 hours a day on the 9th floor of Hisenkaku. Also, there are two private baths and a bedrock bath on the 4th floor of Rinkawakaku. There are various plans for meals, but the Japanese-style room of Sansuikaku or Hisenkaku, and the Japanese-Western equality plan seems to fit within the budget.
