To get to Ibusuki Onsen, there is a direct bus from Kagoshima Airport. It takes a little time, but you can get there without getting lost. The famous natural sand bath is located on the beach on the coast. It is a unique bathing experience where you cover yourself with sand, but even if your body gets dirty, you can wash it off comfortably and there are facilities nearby, so you don't have to worry. Now, Ibusuki Shusuien is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that is said to have been ranked number one in the food category of the 100 Best Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) selected by professionals for over 30 years in a row. I stayed at this inn for two nights, and the food was amazing. The prices are a little high, but it is sure to be a memory that will last a lifetime.

There is a large underwater bath and an open-air observation bath here. It is not widely known that the hotel's rates are very reasonable. Although it is a medium-sized hotel, it faces the sea and has a great view, and I think it will never disappoint you. I have stayed here before for work, and I can recommend it.
