How about Lake Yamanaka? There are not many inns with open-air baths around Mt. Fuji, probably because there were no old hot springs. However, Hotel Mount Fuji has an open-air bath with a great view, probably because it is located on high ground. If the weather is good, you can see the beautiful Mt. Fuji. Lake Yamanaka is nearby, and there is a shuttle bus to Lake Yamanaka.

This is a hotel where many sightseeing buses come for lunch. Not only is it a place to stay, but it is also a place where tours stop for lunch, so there is a high turnover and the ingredients are fresh. There are so many types of Japanese, Western and Chinese food that you wouldn't be able to eat them all at night. There is also a wide variety of desserts, including two types of crab. When the crab comes out, old ladies crowd around and the plates are quickly emptied (lol), so if you are choosing a seat, it might be a good idea to keep the crab side.

夏瀬温泉の都忘れホテルは雪見風呂が楽しめる一軒宿です。世俗化されていない夏瀬温泉の自然の中で、露天風呂付きの部屋で静かにゆっくりと過ごせます。全室かけ流し温泉の露天風呂が付いています。部屋数は少なく、プライベートの空間を満喫できました。食事は秋田県産の黒毛和牛や地元グルメの「きりたんぽ」など、秋田の郷土料理や地酒があってどれも美味しく満足しました。秋田新幹線の角館駅から車で30分程かかりますが、都会を離れ非日常の世界に向かうアプローチとして期待が膨らみます。

ここは客室数の少ないアットホームな宿ですが、その分スタッフの目が行き届き、あたたかなおもてなしをしてもらえました。お料理は部屋でゆっくりと旬の味覚が揃った会席をいただきました。食事プランはいくつかあり、白老牛陶板焼きプランに。他にもお造りなど色々ありおなかいっぱいに。こちらの湯は源泉100%かけ流しの贅沢な湯です。露天風呂の囲いはやや高いものの上を見上げれば緑がきれいにみえとても気持ちよく入ることができました。

いろいろな媒体で高評価を頂いているお宿です。少し駅からは離れてしまいますが、河原町や烏丸駅の近くの京都ど真ん中にあるお宿です。和を満喫できるお宿で、部屋食ができるお宿です。プランがピンキリありますので、ご予算に合わせて選ばれるといいと思います。

鬼怒川温泉の中でも最高級と言われるおもてなしのホテルでございます。お部屋、お風呂、お食事どれをとっても一流です。どしっとした趣のある、渓谷の別荘という感じが素敵です。一人利用のできる和室または和洋室のプランがあり、部屋食が可能です。今の時期ですと、露天風呂からの紅葉が実に綺麗に見れて感動です。料金は高めですが、自分へのご褒美としていかがでしょうか。
