The Yufuin Onsen Baien has a private open-air bath, the largest in Yufuin. You can relax there. The lovely shared open-air bath with a view of Mt. Yufu and the calm indoor bath are also wonderful, so you can enjoy the hot springs at your leisure. This inn also offers colorful yukata rentals, which is great for women. I think your girlfriend will be happy.

The open-air bath is the best. I think that "Baien, a Meien to Meisui no Yado" is the perfect place to stay for this trip, as you can enjoy a variety of open-air baths. We recommend the large open-air bath with Breathtaking view of Mt. Yufu, but you can also rent a family-sized open-air bath with an equally impressive view. Why not have Breathtaking view space all to yourself? If it's within your budget, there are also independent guest cottages rooms with open-air baths, so you can spend even more time relaxing with just the two of you.

A delicious Japanese banquet course featuring seafood, Bungo beef, and Kanmuri chicken
I stayed at the Seki Ajiplan in Umezono. The food was delicious and the baths were amazing. The large open-air bath overlooking Mt. Yufu was very open and relaxing. The banquet course meal, which used seafood from Oita, Bungo beef, and Kanmuri chicken, looked beautiful and had a seasonal feel, and was very easy to eat and delicious. I was also impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff.
