Lake Gosho and hot spring infinity
The comfort of entering hot spring while admiring the magnificent Lake Gosho spread out before you. I recommend Hotel Shion, located in Iwate prefecture connection hot spring. It is a nice hot spring hotel located less than 30 minutes by car from Morioka Station. You can enjoy the luxury of a beautiful lake view from every room. The "Hitorijime no Yu" (hot water for solo bathing) that you enter while admiring the lake open-air bath is exceptionally comfortable. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Iwate the mountains over the lake. The strong alkaline hot spring has a beautifying effect on the skin, and is especially recommended for those who want to reward themselves with a trip or a rewarding stay.

The sunset is beautiful
We recommend Tsunagi Onsen Hotel Shion in Iwate Prefecture. There is a shuttle bus from Morioka. This hotel is located on the shore of Lake Gosho, so you can enjoy a lake view from every room. Taking a bath in the hot spring while looking out over Mt. Iwate and watching the sun set over the lake is an exceptional experience!

Recommended hotels for winter lovers
I recommend Hotel Shion in Tsunagi Onsen, Iwate Prefecture. It's a beautiful hotel located on the lakeside. All rooms have a view of Lake Gosho, but the beautiful view of Mt. Iwate is especially appealing in winter. The hot spring itself is comfortable, with the water 100% natural hot spring at Nanbu Magariya, and it feels even more like the hot spring seeps into your body in winter. Highly recommended!
