A comfortable Ryokan (Japanese inn) run by a famous hotel chain
Ryokan (Japanese inn), run by a major hotel chain, is conveniently located just a one-minute walk from the approach to Kotohira Shrine. Many areas within the building are covered with tatami mats, and you can feel the warmth of traditional Japanese culture from the moment you pass through the entrance. It's a comfortable and convenient inn with a great location and onsen(hot spring).

A bathtub with a modern Japanese feel
「敷島館」は令和1年にオープンした宿で、歴史的な見た目の造りと、それに反するモダンな内装を楽しめます。露天風呂は陽の光や月明かりが差し込み、大きめの浴槽でゆっくりと湯あみでき、ヒノキと岩風呂の湯舟が楽しめました。料理はこだわりの器とそのときだけ入手する食材が楽しめます。

A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with delicious meals and a variety of baths to enjoy
The Shikishimakan building was constructed in the Meiji period and has a very elegant feel. It has been beautifully renovated with a modern Japanese style while retaining its good qualities. The rooms are not purely Japanese, but a mix of Japanese and Western styles, but they are barrier-free and spacious, allowing you to relax comfortably. In addition to the open-air bath, there are four private open-air baths that can be used at any time. Meals are not served in the rooms, but in private rooms or at the dining area, but there is ample consideration given to the risk of infection, so you can rest assured. Dinner is delicious, and breakfast even comes with local Sanuki udon noodles, making it a fun experience.

Located about 30 minutes from Shikoku Aquarium
「ことひら温泉 敷島館」をお勧めします。四国水族館から車で３０分程度、電車を使う場合は1時間くらいで着きます。金刀比羅宮の表参道に面した場所に立地しています。お風呂は内湯と露天風呂があり、ヒノキの樽風呂は一人ゆっくり落ち着いて入れます。食事は瀬戸内の海の幸を会席で頂け、夜食として「夜鳴きそば」を無料で頂けますので小腹がすいたときはお得です。
