If you're looking for a place near Fushimi Inari, this hotel is the place for you.
You probably won't find a hotel closer than this one. With 24/7 access, your New Year's countdown visit to the shrine will be completely hassle-free. A quick tip: this period is extremely popular, so booking early is essential to avoid disappointment! And while you're there, after you've marveled at the thousands of iconic torii gates, be adventurous and try some truly local street food on the shrine's approach, like grilled sparrow.

A lodging within walking distance that is easy to get in and out of at night
There are few large hotels around Fushimi Inari Shrine, and most are small inns. Therefore, I recommend this hotel because it has a 24-hour reception desk, making it easy to come and go in the middle of the night. The room was clean and comfortable. It took about 10 minutes to get to Fushimi Inari Shrine. There is also a convenience store nearby, which is convenient.

Relatively close to Fushimi Inari
There are many guesthouses near Fushimi Inari, but this is probably the closest proper hotel. However, I think it will be difficult to get a reservation for New Year's Eve unless you plan to move very early. Trains in Kansai run all night from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day, so even if you stay independent guest cottages from Fushimi, you won't have to worry too much about transportation. If you can't get a reservation at this hotel, it might be a good idea to look for one a little closer to Osaka.
