Fresh "Gold Spring" Hot Water Directly from the Source on-Site!
I highly recommend Kamenoi Hotel Arima! It's currently closed for renovations but is scheduled to reopen in August 2025. What makes this hotel special is that it has a rare "Gold Spring" (Kinsen) source right on its premises, meaning you can enjoy incredibly fresh hot spring water! If you're not a fan of public baths, they also have rooms with open-air baths that use the Gold Spring water, so you can enjoy a private soak. While there are many dining options in Arima Onsen town, the hotel's restaurant offers course meals featuring Kobe Beef, a renowned brand of wagyu. You can savor this alongside other delicious mountain and sea delicacies from Hyogo prefecture.

Even More Savings When You Stay on a Weekday!
This inn is located on a hill just past the hot spring town of Arima Onsen. Since it is a public inn, the accommodation fee is relatively cheap. You can also get a better deal on weekdays. The food was very delicious, both dinner and breakfast. There is no open-air bath, but we were able to fully enjoy the hot spring water from the Atagoyama source.

A hotel that exceeds expectations
This is one of the more affordable hotels in Arima Onsen. Despite the low price, the breakfast and dinner meals are very delicious. Although it is not luxurious, the relaxing rooms and clean large public baths are popular. We recommend this hotel as it will exceed your expectations.

There are rooms equipped with Simmons beds.
Kanpo no Yado Arima has rooms equipped with Simmons beds, so it is comfortable for foreigners to stay. For dinner, we recommend the kaiseki plan, which allows you to compare different Kobe beef dishes. A sweets plate is also included for dessert. Breakfast is Buffet with over 50 Japanese and Western dishes. The hotel has a spacious public bath and a jacuzzi.

There are plans available where you can stay for less than 10,000 yen including breakfast.
Kanpo no Yado Arima offers a plan that includes breakfast and costs less than 10,000 yen, so it is highly recommended. They provide transportation from Arima Onsen Station and Arima Onsen Bus Stop, so it is easily accessible. The hotel has a large public bath with natural 100% natural hot spring and a jacuzzi. You can soak in Kinsen spring water that is unique to Arima Onsen. After the bath, you can have fun in the karaoke room or the games corner.
