Arima Spa Hyoe Koyokaku

I confidently recommend Hyoe Koyokaku, arguably the most famous hot spring ryokan in Arima Onsen. This historic inn boasts 700 years of tradition, and its on-site hot spring source provides an abundance of Gold Spring water. You can enjoy it in a total of nine baths across three different areas, giving you the feeling of a hot spring tour within the ryokan! While it's a luxury ryokan, you can stay for less than 20,000 yen for a room-only plan on weekdays, which is a great deal. If your budget allows, I highly recommend adding a meal plan. Depending on the plan, you might even have your meal served in your room, which is typically a traditional kaiseki multi-course dinner. The restaurant options include kaiseki with a dessert buffet or a buffet with 50 different dishes, so you can choose according to your budget and preferences.

Arima Spa Hyoe Koyokaku has a long and distinguished history in Arima Onsen, and staying on a weekday allows you to enjoy its charms at a more reasonable price. The well-stocked souvenir shop within the ryokan makes for enjoyable Browse and gift shopping. Its prime location in Arima Onsen also means you'll have fun exploring the nearby shopping street.  This recommendation plays on the idea of getting a "high-class" experience for less by staying on a weekday. The historical aspect and good location are strong selling points, offering a more traditional and immersive Arima Onsen experience without breaking the bank.

We recommend "Hyoei Koyokaku." It is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with over 700 years of history and tradition, and is conveniently located for sightseeing, just a 6-minute walk from Arima Onsen Station. There are Japanese and Western room, and the Japanese-style room is 10 tatami mats plus a bedroom, so even foreigners will have no problem sleeping there. Here you can enjoy hot springs with different atmospheres, including "Ichinoyu; Japanese style," "Ninoyu; Western style," and "Sannoyu; Touji." For dinner, you can enjoy Buffet of about 50 dishes that are an arrangement of traditional kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）, including Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, sashimi, kaiseki small dishes, and seasonal desserts.

There are rooms with open-air bath on the top floors of the West and North buildings, and meals are served in the rooms. You can enjoy the view of Hokusetsu Tamba at your leisure. The rooms are also equipped with massage chairs, so you can enjoy a luxurious time. For dinner, Kobe beef dishes are the main course, but the contents vary slightly depending on the course, so it is best to check the plan when making a reservation.
