  • How About a Ryokan with Onsen & Fuji Views?

  • Wakakusa no Yado Maruei Ryokan is located right on the shores of Lake Kawaguchiko, about a 10-minute retro bus ride from Kawaguchiko Station, and they also offer a shuttle service. While you can't see Mount Fuji directly from every room, they have special Japanese-style rooms with private open-air baths that offer Mount Fuji views – and I highly recommend booking one of these! This inn is locally famous for its exceptional cuisine, often referred to as "Maruei for its food." You'll be treated to beautifully presented "washoku" (traditional Japanese cuisine) dishes. You can also order extra dishes like abalone or premium Wagyu beef steak if you're looking for something extra special.

  • This is a hot spring inn with a beautiful view, located on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi.

  • If you are visiting Kawaguchiko Onsen, why not try Wakakusa no Yado Maruei? This inn is located on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi and has a beautiful hot spring. The hot spring is a chloride spring that is excellent for beautifying the skin, and you can bathe in the large communal bath or open-air bath while looking out at Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. There is also a private observation bath. There is a plan that includes two meals that can be used within your budget, and for dinner you can enjoy kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with seasonal ingredients that reflect the four seasons. There are also rooms with open-air baths.

  • It's an elegant accommodation.

  • There is an open-air bath with a great view of Mt. Fuji. From the Fuji no Yu, you can see Mt. Fuji changing its appearance one after another. The meal was a delicious kaiseki kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )that used seasonal ingredients and local produce in harmony.

  • It's a nice hotel

  • This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi in Yamanashi Prefecture. There are rooms with open-air baths and views of Mt. Fuji. There is an open-air bath on the rooftop with a Breathtaking view view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji, where you can spend a luxurious time. The indoor bath is also made of stone and has a nice atmosphere. You can also rent a private bath and have the view of Mt. Fuji all to yourself.

  • Charming Ryokan: Fuji Views from Room & Open-Air Bath, Plus Memorable Udon!

  • I stayed at a wonderful Japanese-style inn (ryokan) near Lake Kawaguchiko where you could see Mount Fuji perfectly, both from the room and the open-air bath (rotenburo)! A small detail, but the water they served at the ryokan was incredibly delicious – it really left an impression. The onsen water itself was clear, and maybe a little on the hotter side, which was nice. For meals, they served them in our room (<em>oheyashoku</em>), and the udon noodles were particularly memorable! There are quite a few pensions, guesthouses (minshuku), and ryokans in the Lake Kawaguchiko area. But if you're specifically looking for a traditional Japanese-style place, this one was a lovely, relaxing mid-range ryokan, and I'd definitely recommend finding one like it.
