Many rooms have open-air baths
This is a large Ryokan (Japanese inn) with many guest rooms, even among the Hida Takayama Onsen hotels. Many of the rooms have open-air baths, so it is recommended for those who want to stay in. There are various types of rooms and a wide variety of accommodation plans, so it is a hidden gem that suits everyone. The menu includes Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）and steak, where you can fully enjoy Hida beef.

The view of Takayama from the open-air observation bath is amazing
Hoshokaku is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located on a high point in Takayama, and is not large, so you can relax and unwind. It also has a private open-air bath with a great view, so you can relax in the hot water while watching the night view of Hida. I think there are accommodation plans that include Hida beef, so I think you will be satisfied overall.
