I stayed here for one night on a company recreational trip in 1994. It was a tight schedule of a two-day, one-night trip across southern Kyushu. When we arrived at the hotel by sightseeing bus, it was already dark, but if you go before dusk, you can see the beautiful tropical sea. After the president and everyone else had a Japanese kaiseki meal in the large hall, I accompanied a senior employee and experienced the sand bath in the hotel. The three of us lay side by side on an iron construction shovel, and the hotel staff poured warm sand over us from above. Compared to the sauna, this one feels like you gradually get warmer. We also soaked in the large bath overlooking the night sea, and felt like our bodies were lighter. The miso soup with fish bone broth was especially delicious for dinner.

The sand bath is charged separately from the accommodation fee, but the rooms are spacious and there are other baths besides the sand bath. You can take commemorative photos in the sand bath, which will surely be a good memory. The portions of food are plentiful, so children will be satisfied. Of course, adults can enjoy it too.
