Onyado Tsutaya

"Tsutaya" is a traditional Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Kiso Fukushima Onsen, with a nice atmosphere and a retro and stylish appearance. The two-meal kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）includes a taste of Shinshu, and it was luxurious to be able to taste Shinshu salmon, Shinano snow trout, and other Shinshu delicacies. The hot spring has a wonderful open-air bath overlooking the Kiso River, and the wooden structure gives it a tasteful atmosphere, allowing you to feel the Japanese chic.

"Onjuku Tsutaya" is a recommended Ryokan (Japanese inn) in the Kiso area. You can enjoy the Japanese atmosphere. The hot spring has an open-air bath and a medicinal bath. For meals, you can enjoy a Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）meal of domestic beef and Shinshu pork. It is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute taxi ride from Kiso Fukushima Station, so it is close to the station and easy to access.

Located right next to the Kiso River, this inn is surrounded by nature, yet is in the Kiso Fukushima city area, making it a convenient location for sightseeing. The large communal bath has an open-air bath, where you can relax and enjoy the changing of the seasons. The indoor bath is tastefully designed, which also made us feel warm and relaxed. The food is a kaiseki meal made with local seasonal ingredients, and is delicious and filling. Free drinks are available in the lounge, so you can relax and enjoy the goodness of Japan.

"Onjuku Tsutaya" is located in a charming post town along the old Nakasendo road, with the Kiso River behind it, giving it a very atmospheric feel. It is a fine old-fashioned Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a warm wooden feel. The purely Japanese-style building is popular with foreigners as well. It is also an ideal base for sightseeing along the Kisoji road. You can enjoy the hot spring to your heart's content in the open-air bath, where you can hear the murmuring of the Kiso River.
