From the observation bath, you can get a panoramic view of the Sanuki Plain and the beautiful Mount Sanuki Fuji standing in the middle of it. A private open-air bath is also available, allowing you to relax both body and mind in a private space.

Boasting a 400-year history, this is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that has been loved by many literary figures and celebrities. It features independent guest cottages sukiya-style building and a beautiful Japanese garden, and has a quiet, calm, and elegant atmosphere. It is also an excellent base for sightseeing, as it is just a 5-minute walk from the approach to Kotohira Shrine.

You can enjoy the authentic Konpira hot springs, and the quality is quite good. It is located a 15-minute walk from Kotoden Kotohira Station, so it is easy to access. The meals are fresh and elegant, with olive beef and vegetables, so you will be very satisfied.

This inn is located at the starting point of the path to Konpira Shrine. The meals are mainly seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, due to the location. The main dishes are sea bream and flounder sashimi. Olive beef, a specialty of Kagawa Prefecture, is soft and the more you chew it, the more the olive aroma spreads in your mouth.

This inn boasts a long and storied history, founded in the Edo period and having hosted esteemed guests like famous authors and the Imperial Family. While the building had once shown its age, a complete renovation about a decade ago beautifully revitalized the property. Today, guests can enjoy the perfect blend of its historic soul with contemporary comfort, all while savoring the delightful onsen and the regional cuisine of Kagawa.

The inn is surrounded by nature, so you can relax while admiring the natural beauty. The large communal bath had an indoor bath with a great view, and an open-air bath where you can relax surrounded by greenery. This was also nice, but there was also a private open-air bath, so you could enjoy the hot springs in a more private and luxurious atmosphere. At night, the greenery was lit up, creating a fantastical world. For food, we had a kaiseki meal in the dining room, where you could enjoy the Sanuki beef and seafood that are unique to this place, but there is also an in-room dining option, so you can choose whichever you prefer. There was a terrace on the third floor, and a library and massage machines were also provided. It's the perfect place to relax, so I recommend it.

「琴平花壇」は金倉川のほとりにたたずむ、寛永４年創業の老舗旅館です。琴平駅から歩いて15分くらいですが、無料の送迎バスが出ているのでアクセスの心配はいりません。館内には讃岐平野や阿讃山脈を見渡せる展望風呂（サウナあり）、竹林に囲まれた露天風呂があります。貸切露天風呂もあるので、プライベートな入浴も可能です。湯上りにはエステサロンでタイ古式マッサージが受けられますよ。夕食は地元の山海の幸がふんだんに味わえる会席料理で、讃岐牛、オリーブ豚、讃岐コーチンや、瀬戸内の魚介などが美味しいです。
