• I go skiing with my family in the winter. As this is a hot spring resort that people want to stay in the winter, we searched for a good inn in Honshu where we could ski in the winter and enjoy the hot springs, and chose this one. Skiing has gone downhill lately, so most hot spring inns at ski resorts are just old buildings that have been dragged along, but this one is different. Even now, it is well maintained and gets better every year. In particular, the view from the open-air bath, which blends in with the ski resort below, is wonderful. It is located halfway up the ski resort, so the hot spring has a good sense of independence. Even people who don't ski can enjoy the view.

  Question answered: Can you recommend any hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) I would like to stay at in the winter?
