Yufuin Hoteiya

This inn is located in an environment surrounded by the great outdoors of Yufuin, and is recommended for those who want to spend some relaxing time. It is built in the style of an old Japanese house, and has a warm and stylish design. There are several types of rooms, so you can choose the one that suits your taste. We stayed in a room on the first floor of independent guest cottages. It is a single room of 10 tatami mats, but it has a veranda, so it feels open. The room has an open-air bath, so we were able to enjoy the hot springs at our leisure while looking at the night sky and blue sky. We were very satisfied with the food, including the Kuroge Wagyu beef steak, which is unique to Kyushu. The grounds are very large, so you can enjoy a leisurely stroll.

This is a hideaway inn located just off the main street of Yufuin in Oita Prefecture. In addition to the main building, there is a traditional Japanese-style independent guest cottages available for rent, so even families with small children can stay here without worry. You can refresh yourself after your trip in the private bath.

Although it is a little independent guest cottages from JR Yufuin Station (it takes about 8 minutes by bus), how about "Hoteiya"? There is a main building and an annex. It is a traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs, and it has a few independent guest cottages rooms, so it is an inn that places importance on hospitality. It has an atmosphere like a hidden village.

Although it is a little independent guest cottages from the main street of Yufuin, it is a quiet inn with a hideaway atmosphere. The food is delicious in the old-style thatched-roof building, and we were able to relax when we stayed there with our family. It is on the affordable side of Yufuin Onsen, so I think it will be fine on a budget. There is a main building and a new building, so you should consider your budget and the availability of rooms.

Yufuin Onsen is famous throughout Japan as a charming hot spring. Among them, Hoteiya has a limited number of rooms on a large site, creating a calm atmosphere.
