Ryokan Ibusuki Syusuien

If you are traveling to Kagoshima, I recommend "Ibusuki Shusuien." This inn does provide a shuttle service from JR Ibusuki Station. You can enjoy the hot springs of Ibusuki to the fullest in the large public bath, open-air bath, and private half-open-air bath. For meals, you can enjoy kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with seasonal ingredients, mainly from local Kagoshima ingredients. We recommend this inn as it has Japanese-style rooms where you can relax and enjoy the view of Ibusuki's streetscape.

Ibusuki Onsen is over 50km away, so if you consider the transportation time, it's probably better to take the JR Ibusuki Makurazaki Line to Ibusuki Station. The large public bath is large, and the adjacent open-air bath is also charming. Although it costs extra, the semi-open-air private bath is soothing to the soul. The recommended room is a Japanese-style room with 8 tatami mats. For meals, you can enjoy seasonal kaiseki meals that make the most of seasonal ingredients.
