 I have never seen a hotel buffet with this much variety. And what's more, it's all delicious. The second you walk into the dining hall, the sheer selection is almost dizzying. Then, there’s the bathing area—which is just as overwhelming in its size and the number of baths available. They offer several different water temperatures, so you can choose whatever suits you best. It's like a "buffet of baths," too. On top of all that, the staff are clearly well-trained and very pleasant.

If you're traveling with friends or family, I recommend the buffet at Hotel Sakurai. The buffet here has a huge variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, and it was so much fun to choose. The live kitchen is particularly impressive, and I highly recommend trying the Joshu beef steaks that are cooked right in front of you, and the freshly fried tempura. They also have sushi and crab! The freshly squeezed Mont Blanc for dessert was delicious. Everyone from children to adults can eat their fill of whatever they like, so I think it's perfect for traveling with friends or family.

The young ladies were choosing their favorite yukata. We enjoyed watching them as their tastes varied. The hotel is very accessible. It's a large hotel, so the bath is about 25m long! The open-air bath is hot. There are also reasonably priced rooms, so it's easy to choose.

The hotel has a garden on its premises, making it an environment that can be enjoyed by foreigners. The natural garden, which is home to alpine plants, rhododendrons, and glaucophora japonica, is a soothing space. In the rustic open-air bath, you can relax and feel the atmosphere of the seasons.
