Recommended for sightseeing at Enryakuji Temple in Shiga Prefecture

This Shukubo is located in Shiga Prefecture, behind the Monjuro Gate, in a quiet location. Participation in the morning services is voluntary, but you will take part in the services at Konpon Chudo Hall. You will feel invigorated. You will be served a colorful, beautiful and delicious Shojin Ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine). The view of Lake Biwa from the large public bath is also amazing.
