Recommended inns in Kaminoyama Onsen where you can enjoy Yamagata's local sake with your meal
There is a regular shuttle service, so access is good. You can see the Zao mountain range from the open-air bath in the large communal bath. For meals, you can enjoy creative cuisine including Yamagata beef sukiyaki.

A hotel in Kaminoyama Onsen where you can enjoy local Yamagata sake
There is a sake tasting plan, where you can compare three types of local Yamagata sake, including Kurozaemon Yukigami and Dewazakura. For dinner, you can enjoy Japanese cuisine made with plenty of Yamagata ingredients, such as Yamagata beef steak. There is a room plan with an open-air bath, so American friends can enjoy the hot springs without worrying about others. There is also a large hot spring bath and an open-air bath, where you can relax in the hot springs while looking out at the Zao mountain range.
