Where are the best places for couples to stay in Ibusuki Onsen to experience a sand bath?
My partner and I are planning a trip to Ibusuki Onsen in Kagoshima Prefecture. Since we'll be making the trip, we would love to experience one of the famous sand baths. Could anyone please recommend an inn or hotel that has its own sand bath facilities on-site, or one that is located very close to a place where we can try one? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

- Here you can fully enjoy the sand bath, a specialty of Ibusuki Onsen. There is also a bathhouse that recreates a large bathhouse from the Genroku period of the Edo period in Japan. The bathhouse is as large as a pool, so you can enjoy bathing in a spacious space.spring's answer (Posted on:2022/12/ 3)

A Fantastic Hotel with a Sand Bath Experience!
- The famous Ibusuki sand bath is a unique experience you won't find just anywhere—it's so warm and comfortable that you'll find yourself dozing off! It has an incredible detox effect. While the open-air bath with its amazing view is great, the "Genroku-buro" bath was also fantastic; it's very spacious and has a really interesting design. For dinner, you get to choose between Japanese and Italian food. We opted to dine in our room, which was perfect for enjoying a slow, relaxing meal.コリドラス's answer (Posted on:2020/2/19)

If you are looking for a place to stay in Ibusuki Onsen where you can experience Sunamushi Onsen (Steam Sand Bath), and which is popular among couples, we recommend Sand Baths Ibusuki Hakusuikan. The inn is located on the seafront and is about a 7-minute drive from JR Ibusuki Station, but there is a free shuttle bus so you don't have to worry about getting there. This Japanese-style inn sits on a vast site of 165,000 square meters overlooking Kinko Bay. You can enjoy a variety of hot springs, including bubble springs and waterfall baths. The sand baths at this inn contain a lot of metasilicic acid, which is said to be a natural moisturizing ingredient, and are highly effective at beautifying the skin. The Japanese kaiseki meal uses seasonal local ingredients, and the menu changes every month.nanochip's answer (Posted on:2020/2/14)
