I'm planning my first trip to a hot spring with my girlfriend. We're thinking of going to Yufuin Onsen, however I'd like to be able to relax in the hot spring with her.  So if possible, please let me know if there are any hotels that have private baths.

There are two types of baths, a cypress bath and a stone bath, and although they are small, you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the Yufuin hot springs. Dinner was a seasonal kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with fresh ingredients from Bungo, Oita, and it also came with a cherry blossom roll cake. There is also a free rental of a beautifully colored yukata, which I think will get your girlfriend excited.
