[Kagawa Prefecture] Recommended Accommodations in Konpira Onsen
I'm planning to travel to Shikoku. I want to go to Konpira Onsen in Kagawa Prefecture. Can you tell me about a nice inn? I'd like an inn with an open-air bath.

- This inn has a long history, having been founded in the Edo period. Famous writers and members of the imperial family have stayed here, but the building used to be dilapidated and it had the atmosphere of a run-down local Ryokan (Japanese inn). However, it was renovated about 10 years ago and no longer has that old feel. You can also enjoy hot springs and Kagawa's local cuisine.キタキツネ's answer (Posted on:2021/11/ 4)

A quiet inn surrounded by nature
- The inn is surrounded by nature, so you can relax while admiring the natural beauty. The large communal bath had an indoor bath with a great view, and an open-air bath where you can relax surrounded by greenery. This was also nice, but there was also a private open-air bath, so you could enjoy the hot springs in a more private and luxurious atmosphere. At night, the greenery is lit up, creating a fantastical world. For food, we had a kaiseki meal in the dining room, where you could enjoy the Sanuki beef and seafood that are unique to this place, but there is also an in-room dining option, so you can choose whichever you prefer. There was a terrace on the third floor, and a library and massage machines were also provided. It's the perfect place to relax, so I recommend it.くまたんさん's answer (Posted on:2020/10/ 9)

There is an open-air bath surrounded by bamboo forest.
- Kotohira Kadan is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) founded in 1626, located on the banks of the Kanagura River. It is about a 15-minute walk from Kotohira Station, but there is a free shuttle bus so you don't have to worry about getting there. The inn has an observation bath (with sauna) overlooking the Sanuki Plain and the Asan Mountains, and an open-air bath surrounded by bamboo forests. There is also a private open-air bath, so you can bathe in private. After the bath, you can receive a traditional Thai massage at the beauty salon. Dinner is kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )that allows you to taste an abundance of local seafood and mountain delicacies, including delicious Sanuki beef, olive pork, Sanuki Cochin, and seafood from the Seto Inland Sea.RRgypsies's answer (Posted on:2020/6/26)
