Okunoin Hotel Tokugawa

Nikko 2204

  • An inn with a garden rock bath in Nikko

  • The garden-style rock bath has a wonderful view and the water quality is different depending on the season. The water from Nikko is delicious. We had a very luxurious time enjoying both breakfast and dinner in a private room. The shuttle bus to the Toshogu Shrine area makes it easy to get to.

  • An open-air bath with a luxurious atmosphere and charm

  • If you are looking for a hotel with a hot spring in Tochigi Prefecture, we recommend Hotel Tokugawa. The hotel is surrounded by nature and has a garden where you can feel the four seasons, which will liven up your travel mood. The hot spring has excellent water quality, allowing you to take in the blessings of nature with your whole body. When lit up at night, the atmosphere becomes fantastic and soothing. The rock-made hot spring is recommended because it has a sense of openness. Room service offers a babbling set, and you can enjoy sake, but you can also bring it into the large bath, so you can enjoy the luxury of drinking while soaking in the hot spring. The food is local kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )that makes use of seasonal locally produced ingredients. From seafood to mountain produce, the food is wonderful, with attention to detail in every dish. Please try it as it goes well with local sake. The grilled river fish and eggplant dengaku are exquisite. Many people use this hotel for celebrations and events, so please visit it once.

  • If you book early you might be able to get a better price.

  • You'll stay in a Japanese-style room with a terrace, and breakfast and dinner will be served in a private dining room. If you book this plan early, it will cost around 18,000 yen per person. There is a large public bath and an open-air rock bath with a refined atmosphere. There is also a sauna, and two private open-air baths. For dinner, you can enjoy wagyu beef and river fish in a beautifully presented kaiseki meal of local cuisine using seasonal local ingredients. There are also plenty of small bowls of local cuisine in the morning, and you won't be able to stop having second helpings of rice.

  • This is a recommended lodging located near Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge) in Tochigi Prefecture.

  • This inn is close to the World Heritage Site "Nikko Toshogu Shrine" and is easily accessible, about 10 minutes by car from JR Nikko Station. It is also just a 4-minute drive from Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge), one of Japan's three most unusual bridges. The inn also has an alkaline simple spring, and features a rustic rock-built open-air bath and a large communal bath. In winter, you can enjoy bath to view the snow. We especially recommend the private open-air bath, which is transparent and open enough for couples to enjoy. As for food, you can enjoy delicious Japanese kaiseki kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with seasonal ingredients at the dining restaurant. The inn's welcome drink service is particularly well-received.

  • This is a luxurious inn in Nikko that also has rooms with open-air baths.

  • This famous hot spring inn is located in the Shinkyo area of Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge) Prefecture, about 10 minutes by car from Tobu Nikko Station and JR Nikko Station, and has rooms with open-air baths. The open-air baths surrounded by nature are very tasteful and will make for a memorable trip. The creative cuisine is also luxurious, and although it is a high-class inn, it is well worth staying at! There is also a free shuttle service to the nearest station. It is especially recommended during the autumn foliage season.

  • A tranquil inn with hot springs located on a quiet hilltop

  • Hoshinoyado is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge), one of Nikko 's most famous sights, and is also convenient for sightseeing at Nikko Toshogu Shrine and other places. You can enjoy the beneficial hot springs to your heart's content in the large communal bath and open-air bath overlooking the beautiful garden. There are also Japanese-style rooms with a relaxing atmosphere, making it a great place for couples. The meals, which use plenty of local ingredients from northern Kanto and Tochigi Prefecture, are also highly rated.

  • Located close to Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge). Enjoy an open-air bath with a great view and exquisite kaiseki cuisine.

  • This popular inn is located just a short walk from Shinkyo Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge) and offers a shuttle service from Nikko Station. There is a beautiful Japanese garden, and the open-air natural hot spring bath, which you can enjoy while looking at the mountains, has a soft spring water quality that was excellent. The food was excellent kaiseki cuisine, and the Kirifuri Kogen beef teppanyaki was the best. I'm sure my boyfriend will be satisfied with this inn.
