Nikko onsen inn (near Shinkyo/Toshogu)? Need Rotenburo & good food.
Headed to Japan (Tochigi/Nikko) w/ my boyfriend. We'll see Shinkyo Bridge & Toshogu Shrine. Need an onsen inn w/ easy access, a rotenburo (open-air bath), and amazing food. Any recs?

- The garden-style rock bath has a wonderful view and the water quality is different depending on the season. The water from Nikko is delicious. There is a beautiful Japanese garden, and the open-air natural hot spring bath, which you can enjoy while looking at the mountains, has a soft spring water quality that was excellent.
