- Recommendations for a couple's onsen trip to Izu?
My boyfriend and I want to go to Izu for a romantic onsen trip. We're looking for a ryokan that has either a private, reservable onsen (kashikiri-buro) or a room with a private open-air bath. We also want a place that serves amazing seafood. There are so many options that it's hard to choose. Does anyone have any recommendations?

- If you're looking for delicious seafood, then "Taberu Oyado Hamanoyu" is a sure choice. As the name suggests, the food was truly excellent, especially the whole braised golden-eyed snapper, a specialty of Inatori. The fresh sashimi and other dishes were all of high quality, and we were impressed. We had breakfast and dinner in a private room, which allowed us to maintain our privacy and enjoy our meals in comfort. Of course, the open-air bath in the room was also excellent, so if you're looking for both delicious food and hot springs at a high level, this is a place we can truly recommend.KenFuku (Early 40s Male)'s answer (Posted on:2025/10/20)

A Quiet, Comfortable Room with a Spectacular Private Onsen
- Have you considered "Taberu Oyado Hamanoyu"? The most compelling feature of this inn is, without a doubt, the exceptional quality of the private open-air bath attached to the guest room. Facing the ocean, the view is absolutely superb, and it offers a perfectly quiet space for just the two of you.
The cleanliness and comfort of the room were also impeccable, allowing me to truly relax during my stay. Of course, the seafood dinner was fresh and delicious, and I felt the overall quality of service was very high. While it may be a bit of a splurge, I can assure you it is well worth the price.AKI_Yuki (Late 30s Female)'s answer (Posted on:2025/10/20)
